Well, I am starting again. My goal is to do aerobic exercises on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and do weight training or a video clip on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I will have Sunday off.I will track food daily. Those are my goals and I will keep going this time even if I miss some things in between. Just keep going. emoticon emoticon emoticon

SLOW IS OFTEN BETTER. IT STAYS OFF BETTER. I SET MY GOALS AT 5 POUNDS AND IF I LOSE 1/2 POUND I CONSIDER THAT A VICTORY. emoticon

My goal is little sad for me but I need to lose at least 70 pounds. All my life I have fought my weight so I am hoping to find a constant here that I haven't learned, tracking food and exercise. This I think will help me see where I overload on calories and where I am weakest. Plus, the support I am finding is super. My short term goal is 10 pounds. I have lost one pound in the last week so very slow start but I am trying to remember an pound lost is not one gained. emoticon

My goal is to lose 6 pounds in this 8 weeks. I am type 2 diabetic controlled by diet.
I am limited in exercise due to severe arthritis, COPD and AFIB. I do Qi gong 40 minutes 5-6 days a week, I walk 2-3 times a week. twice a week I use dumbbells. I have already lost 14 pounds and have eased some pain through Qi gong routines. I have lowered my A1C from 7.11 to 6.6. I have gone from a size 18 to a size 16. My goal is to fit back into my size 14 clothes again and further lower my A1C to 6.

My goal for this 8-week challenge is to lose 5% of my body weight to get the ball rolling. I am prediabetic and hope to prevent the progression to diabetic. I already do regular cardio exercise for at least 30 minutes, 3 to 4 days a week. I will add regular strength training and improve my diet/nutrition.
