I just started today, also. I've been distracted by other health and family matters, and it's time to focus on this aspect of well-being.
I stopped eating sugar (except whole fruits) about six months ago, and lost twelve pounds. I want to continue, and I need especially to keep exercising when I do not feel well.
Looking forward to the challenge!

Today is my first day... Blood sugar is 155
My husband is also diabetic and was put on insulin this week and I'm having a "scared straight" moment. I'm hoping to make changes for me to get off some diabetic medications and get healthier. Hopefully, my progress will motivate him as well. We need to get active!
