Hello, everyone! I have learned about a simple but effective diet plan that is working wonders for my blood sugar. A friend in Canada told me about it. For 21 days you cut out all sweets and desserts, white bread, all junk food snacks and fast foods, pizza and sugary drinks. Even if you are running late, you are on the road, no cheating for the 21 days. My blood sugar has been way down ever since starting this diet 8 days ago. I am doing it with my adult son, who is not diabetic. It really helps to have a partner doing this diet so the two of you can keep each other on track. It is a simple diet plan and doesn't limit any one food group. As you can see, if you stick to it you'll probably have to be eating more fruits, veggies, and fewer to no processed foods. Give it a try!
