Okay, first time doing this - not necessarily changing my eating habits, but posting about it.
I just learned I have a fatty liver so clearly a morning mocha and my love of bread, butter, and ice cream has been silently taking it's toll. So now I'm ready to at least try to stop the ongoing destruction.

I am going to do better meal planning so that I know what I'm going to eat and not just keep "grazing" until I feel somewhat satisfied. That plan hasn't worked too well for me as I am about 40 pounds overweight. So although I haven't been "officially" diagnosed with Type-2 diabetes I know at this point it's just a matter of time if I don't change my habits. I'm looking forward to making more use of this website - I've been passively looking at it from time to time but now it's time to get to work!

So my goal is to improve my overall health by (1) committing to this 8-week challenge, (2) planning my meals, (3) eating breakfast, (4) bringing my lunch to work, and (5) drink 64 oz of water every day.
