My goal is to lose as much weight as possible before my surgery date and maintain good blood sugar levels after surgery by testing more frequently and counting carbs.

My goal is to record food, go to y.m.c.a. Regularly, continue learning about diabetes, rejoice that my a1c is looking good to my dr.,and increase my walking for the week.

19 lbs lost since August and blood sugar was 104 this morning. I am learning that my stomach is right below my chest and when it is empty, that is the time to eat. I am learning not to let my brain and eyes dictate what I eat--I let my empty or half empty stomach tell me.

54 days ago i got really serious. my blood level is down to 100
I lost 24 pounds so far.... 80 more to go... wow ! that sure seems like a lot... everyone have a great day

My goal for this challenge is to actually prevent diabetes. I'm not there yet but if I don't stop the downward slide now, I'll get it before all is said and done.

I cannot change yesterday but I CAN change today.

My goal is to learn l can about diabetes self management and to lose 10% of my weight so I can get out of the danger zone for developing diabetes. I am prediabetic. The holidays are coming up so this will be hard.

I want to lose 10% of my weight, which is 24 lbs. I have lost 9.5 lbs this month

I want to lose 10 lbs in this challenge. I currently take metformin for my diabetes control and know that insulin will come in my future should I not get some of this weight off. So easy said, so hard to do.
IF I BELIEVE IT, I CAN ACHIVE IT ! but I am in serious need of a SPARK in my life.
