If your craving ice cream try Skinny Cow it is Sugar-Free but, it doesn't taste it. If you want cookies or cakes make your own using 1/2 sugar-free to whatever sugar is called for. Still sugar that will need to be compensated for but, in moderation it will kill the craving. OR you could do what I DID, WHAT I DID, was mark the calendar for 14 days and I checked each day off til this would be over!!! At the end. I found I no longer craved sugar, as long as I didn't go back to a regular consumption I could do without, THE MONKEY WAS OFF MY BACK!!!!!!!!!!! I NEXT WORKED ON SALT, IT WAS THE SAME 2 WEEKS AND I WAS CURED I COULDN'T EVEN EAT BACON ANYMORE!!!! I HAVE THE SAME BOX OF SALT IN THE CUPBOARD FOR 8 YRS. NOW. JUST FOR GUESTS. emoticon emoticon emoticon

THE FIRST thing is to see the DOCTOR ask for a complete blood work done. Then wait for the result's, if it is your internal Doctor he should be able to call the test's in before the appointment to save time. While waiting write down what foods you eat that are processed food's which are not very nutritional or fast food which falls in the same category emoticon .

I have been successful in managing my diabetes ( diagnosed in January) doing low carb. I am very happy on this way of life too, and so far I've lost 26 pounds.

Read "Atkins Diabetes Revolution." Excellent book and a must-read.

Hi.

I might pre or diabetic. I need to get blood tests and D and C. Right now I feel very tired, having difficulty sleeping at night (worrying about my health) emoticon I'm itchy and I pee a lot.

I see the menus but I'd like to eat other things besides peanut butter and carrot sticks. I'm going to check around for recipes. I'm also getting back into exercising. I want my energy back emoticon
