I did w1d1 at the gym on a treatmill Tuesday. Today I will do w1d2 out of doors, with dog in hand. Hope he is willing to jog for 1 minute out of every 5 for 25 minutes. But then again, he is a wire fox terrier and usually game for anything!

W1-D1 I surprised myself as well! Went out to Lake Mayer here in Savannah and there were TONS of people! people going in both directions and it was really busy busy busy! All types of walkers, beginners and skilled! it seemed that the newbies were walking counter clockwise and the runners were going clockwise. Every time I felt like giving up I would see a runner with the legs I want to have or the arms I'm aiming for and it motivated me! Lots of smiling faces! The first 5 minutes was the hardest for me. My heart was pounding really hard after the 1 minute jog, but I didn't stop! After 1.4 miles and 25 minutes I felt FANTASTIC! came home sweating (I don't think I've ever sweat before... I've perspirated [sp?] once or twice, but this was actual sweat!) Super happy with tonight's exercise! I look forward to doing it again! I feel positive and happy and my heart didn't pop, so yay! emoticon

Hooray for you!!

I could have written the same thing! It wasn't too bad. Did it on the treadmill, and even bumped up my speeds for both walking and jogging. Hoping my feet and knees will hold up ... gonna take it slow and steady. Kind of exciting!

Keep up the good work!
