Hope these help...let me know how it worked for you...they are not 30 minutes in length but you could do a combo to make up the 30 minutes...

Seated Leg Body Exercise for Strengthening

Starting Position

Begin seated in a chair, feet flat in front of you, palms grasping chair edge at sides or front.

Action

EXHALE: Keeping left foot planted and upper body still, extend the right leg (bending from the knee) until it is parallel with the floor. Hold here for 2 counts and then (optional) pulse up and down for 3 counts (not shown).

INHALE: Bend knee to lower right leg back to floor to complete one rep. Complete all reps on one side and switch.

Special Instructions
Perform exercise very slowly and with control. Concentrate on flexing the leg muscles.

Muscles Worked: Quads

1st one is a 7 Seated Stretching Exercise that look after the whole body... 2nd video link is an upper body stretching routine with Coach Nicole...I do this all the time and is great...

Thanks for your concern! I've been really sick with some respiratory thing, but still going strong. As a mom and wife, we can never stop. Yesterday we got clobbered with over 2 feet of snow. Spent 8 hours shoveling and I still have about half the driveway to do today. Talk about a workout! I was exhausted after all that. I just hope that whatever cold I have doesn't get worse as a result. Although I found that I actually feel better being out in the cold than indoors. Easier to breathe. Now, I'm trying to catch up on everything.

Again, thanks! It was really nice to see someone was thinking of me.

Didn't know if this was appropriate but counted it as fitness since there is a category for heavy cleaning on SP. Yesterday I spent 4 hours straight working on cleaning out the basement. Lifting, scrubbing, packing, unpacking, putting shelving units together, etc. Not only did I work up a sweat but am feeling it in my muscles. So I figured it counts. I still have a long way to go, but a small part looks great. This is what happens when you wait 5.5 years after a move to try to get organized. The basement since it is unfinished became housing and storage grounds. Anything not necessary never got unpacked or things not used got banished to there.

Good Afternoon All,

We are beginning a brand new month, let's make February a great month of meeting our goals and being the very best we can be.

This month I am challenging you to raise the bar and be the best we have ever been. Let's push ahead and strive to push the bar higher with raising our Fitness minutes by adding an additional 10 minutes to our daily routine.

Let's strive to exercise daily for no less than 10 minutes and aiming between 30 and 35 minutes or more of exercise daily. Let's see how far we can go....

I believe you can do it, who is onboard, who is going to join me this month?

For each member who reaches at least 30 minutes of fitness or more per day for the entire month will receive a Gold trophy emoticon for those who achieve between 10 and 20 minutes per day for the entire month will receive a Silver Trophy emoticon And just for trying you will receive a Blue Ribbon emoticon

At the end of the month you all will receive one of 3Trophies so everyone is a winner...

Your daily fitness will include any of the following: Cardio, Gymnastics, Jogging, Walking, Strength and Stretching routine, Chair aerobics etc, whatever exercise routine you use, your choice!

Let's do it, let's go...You can do it 1 day and 1 day at a time...

Here is a sample of your daily Fitness

Sunday- February 1 30 minutes

Monday February 2 35 minutes

Tuesday February 3 30 minutes

Wednesday February 4 35 minutes

Thursday February 5 30 minutes

Friday February 6 30 minutes

Saturday February 7 35 minutes
