I was good ate only half of my dinner at the restaurant, perhaps less and with the bill came a little piece of halloween candy... and I ate it... oh well... we took the dogs for an extra long walk. Today will be better.

Sunday, no halloween candy was eaten but while we were out and on our way to the weekend hike we stopped at QT and I got a orange smoothie... bad bad bad... I counted it as my lunch and stayed in my calorie range...

umm...well...uh, oh. I ate 2 donuts tonight! They were beckoning to me!
AND had a cup of hot chocolate! went 100 calories over my range!
went 30 minutes on the treadmill at 5% incline even though I wanted to stop at 10.
did day 5 of the boot camp workouts.

My hubbby bought the BIG KitKat bars and Nestle crunch bars. Slipped up and had 2 KK bars. I plan to go the extra mile tomorrow - Monday is my weight in day. Wish me LUCK!!!

Tripped up yesterday with a "good" size portion of pumpkin bread. Yikes! Off to the gym this morning to work it off. Tonight is party night. I'm going to glue my water bottle to my hand so I have one less hand to graze the buffet area. Good luck everyone as we enter into the Halloween gauntlet... emoticon

Still on track :o) no sweets since the good & penty's earlier in the week
my treat; going out to dinner with friends tonight *I will be sensible... had very few calories today so I may eat a "normal dinner" out... Yummy Indian food... I may indulge in a piece of Naan (bread) with my spinach dish.

So far, so good. My husband opened one giant bag (75 pieces) of mini candies two days ago, but I'm still on track. I'm saving my "one" candy for Halloween night.

Well, I did pretty well today - knowing that a pizza lunch was part of a meeting today at work, I ate healthy and sparingly at breakfast and dinner to compensate. Tomorrow night is going to be the challenge: a vendor is having a HUGE Halloween costume bash with the requisite food and drink. I guess I could just keep my mouth shut all night and tell people I'm a clam!

So I made it all the way through yesterday until about 7pm at night. I was bowling with some kids from work, and one of them remembered my favorite soda was diet orange, so she brought me in a Waist Watchers Diet Orange. I didn't want to hurt her feelings and tell her I stopped drinking soda because she was so excited she remembered, so I drank it :(.

I am so proud of myself. Yesterday someone brought in 2 boxes of doughnuts and I didn't even look at them. Today was my workout day and I didn't want to sabatoge it. I treated myself by having 2 graham crackers. I know I shouldn't treat myself with food, but after bypassing the doughnuts I figured it was a good swap.

So yesterday I did prety good... was too busy at work to eat anything as it was.

But this MORNING I'm sitting here and eating a TWIX! emoticon What the heck?! And I didn't even realize what I was doing until I said to myself... omg... I have to post this and add it to my food diet. :(

Even though I am mad at myself for eating it... I am HAPPY that I realized what I was doing for the first time! emoticon

Its getting better! Now I am grabbing for my pumkin seeds that I cooked for myself... much better!

I totally blew this challenge today. We had a tea party for a colleague at work today who is resigning and moving out of town -- a 2-hour lunch, department meeting, and party.

There was no healthy food there -- well, not much, anyway. It was wall to wall pastries and tea. Lots of tricks today.

I did eat a small, healthy breakfast though .. and did exercise after work to make up a few of those calories. To keep my daily total caloric intake OK, I am going to have to eat practically nothing for dinner.

Ok so i did not get my treat of reading a book yesterday Life just got in the way. yesterday I went to the gym at lunch and after work.
Today I had those Good & Plenty's that have been calling my name...but only 1/2 a serving... yes, I counted out 16 tiny pieces of liquorice and enjoyed them very much... so i went to the gym again at lunch and did 30 minutes on the elliptical.. I was supposed to go to a luncheon with the gals at work... I guess that made up for the candy.

Hmmm...I'm not sure what this was. Instead of having my usual cookies or cake for my lunch dessert, I had a 100 calorie snack pack. So, while it was 100 calories of sugar, it was an improvement over what I have been eating recently.

On the positive side, I sipped on water while I taught class today instead of soda. That was a definitely good.

So ... I'm going to say "I broke even" for the day.

Trick today was two carmel cremes offered by a friend I was visiting emoticon . But - I made sure to check out the candy bag and two of them were only 86 calories, I tracked 'em and stayed within my points range today!

Okay, my boss sent out one of the secretaries today to buy 4 big bags of mixed halloween candy. I helped her load all the bowls in the office and didn't even take a bite. I actually didn't even want a bite after I thought about how long I would have to walk to equal that amount of calories and the big slice of my pie chart it would take up when I ran my report at the end of the day! NOT worth it!!

Trick - emoticon This morning I had 2 Thin Mints so today I took the stairs.

No suggery trick have gotten the best of me yet today and my treat will be a nice hour break after dinner with a book...
Went to the gym at lunch felt good going but I could not find my favorite elliptical machine open went on another ... i soooo wanted to get off the darn thing the first 5 minutes... but I stuck with it.
Mor gym time tonight :o)

Whether you celebrate or not Halloween, this week is also the last week of the month: you can choose to TRICK yourself OR you can TRACK and TREAT yourself to end this month on a high note.

Our challenge for this week is to TRACK our sugar intake, and to avoid sugary desserts, cookies and pastries, candies, chips, soda, sweet chocolate, sugar, etc. OR to substitute them with a healthier version (see the links below for suggestions.)

We're also going to TREAT ourselves by doing one "ME" thing a day.
Could be a nice bath, a pedicure or manicure, a great new healthy recipe, anything which makes you happy!

So what happens if one of us TRICKS themselves one day during this week?
It's not the end of the world, don't worry. Stay accountable and report it here to get words of support, we're here to help, not to boo you.
Just try to make it up, and to do so, use your SPECIAL JOKER: emoticon and do a quick exercise to eliminate this "quick" sugar.
