Jill, I did this, also, after only a few days having my machine. I had to purchase a separate chin strap to keep my mouth closed. I was sleeping in 1-1/2 hour increments before I got my C-pap. Now I can sleep almost 6 hours most of the time. Unbelievable what a better day I have. Also, I think it has made a difference in my being able to exercise daily. (I have the strength) I think this is a life or death difference in my life. Good Luck with with your machine, sleep, diet, and exercise. I have to have ALL of these things balanced to feel healthy and alive.

I don't know who else to ask so I am asking my fellow hose heads. My husband reported for the first couple of weeks I didn't snore at all with the machine on but now he says I am when I lay on my back.....I kind of thought that would go away completely with the machine. Does this happen to anyone else?
