what is your normal???

There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And
maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

Happy Tuesday to you!

We all know that our bodies need protein. Do you know why? Protein is important for the growth and repair of your muscles, bones, skin, tendons, ligaments, hair, eyes and other tissues. Without it, you would lack the enzymes and hormones you need for metabolism, digestion and other important processes.

When you have an infection, you should eat more protein because it helps create the antibodies your immune system needs to fight disease. If you are injured, you may need more, as well, to help your blood clot and make repairs.

As you can see, protein is a very important component in a healthy diet.

The best sources for protein are: beef, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy products, nuts, seeds, and legumes (like black beans).

Your challenge today is to work on getting healthy, low-fat protein into your daily diet. YOU CAN DO IT!
