I noticed that some people were looking for podcasts for this program and couldn't find any. The one I use is one that was created by someone on Facebook. She made a page called "The Bridge to 10K Running Plan" and put podcasts for each day/week under the discussions section. If you search for that page on FB you should be able to like it and get to the podcasts. Hope this helps some of you! :)

Repeated week 1 last week, so today I did Week 2 day 1. Was surprised at how easy that extra 5 minutes seemed. Even bumped up the speed on my treadmill.

Thank you Delphyne.

Week 1 Day 1 completed this morning on the treadmill. Not too bad. The last couple of minutes were the hardest, but otherwise, good run.

I finished W1D3 today. I also thought it would be easy running 4 intervals of 10 minutes, but it has been a challenge, that i am more than willing to rise up to. I have some steep hills and i have promised myself not to cheat... well we'll see about Wednesday emoticon

Finished week seven today, feeling good. It was a really rough run because the weather warmed up shortly after I started, but I still stuck to it and managed to keep going. I even spotted a few garage sales while I was out running so I may go back to check them out. :D

I understand on cheating a bit...jumping into three 15-minute runs today felt a little crappy to be honest. After the second 15-minute interval we walked for two minutes because I just could not get it together. It was a struggle to convince myself to do it all. I just hope that seeing myself overcome these time obstacles again will help me feel accomplished and push me to reach for more.

I use it when I need someone to tell when to run and give me that extra motivation. It seems to help.. even when I don't want to run 18 minutes. I gotta be honest, sometimes I cheat.

I just started B210K today. I completed C25K at the beginning of March and since then my running has been iffy. I've been losing momentum and am hoping that having a schedule and goals will help me stay motivated.

Since I wasn't starting from scratch my partner and I started up at Week 7. We're running a 10K on June 12th, so hopefully this will help get us ready in time. Anyone else actively using this program?

Yeah, I didn't want to train outside. The weather makes me fearful of getting ran over or slipping and falling. I've heard if I do an incline of 2 or 3, it still is worthwhile.

If you play with the inclines, you are better than if running w/ it flat. And getting your base on the emoticon is absolutely fine! Safer for us in weather states like WI!

Yeah, I'd rather be running on a trail than staring at the same cement walls.. hehe.

I am do my training for the HM on the emoticon . It really makes me nervous. I've heard plenty of times that the TM isn't as good as road work. And, I won't be able to do that until April, at the earliest. To help me with this, I have been putting the TM at an incline at 2 or 3. Yesterday it was a bit higher since I was putting little hills into my run.

No I am changing it up. I have an endurance work out I got from runners world. I usually run at about 5-5.2 mph then power walk at 3.7. The last two running segments lately I have cranked out to over 6 mph. It's just running inside on a treadmill....blech

Do you keep at the same pace? To get me through the hour, I play with the paces and inclines. It has helped me (so far) alot! It probably helps that I have three different places/treadmills I can run on so I can mix it up that way rather easily. emoticon

I was actually thinking of doing the C25K again since I am on my emoticon and I find it really hard to work more than a 1/2 hour on the beast!

Figure this would be great way to get me thru the winter and when it's more consistent to be outside, I'll be ready to start the B210K again!

That does sound like a good plan! It was a hurdle getting myself to the 10K on my own.

I just started the B210K this week. Tomorrow will be my second run. Honestly, when I started I thought.. oh, it will be easy.. um, not exactly.. but I LOVED the challenge! I think I made the right decision in doing the B210K before officially training for my half marathon! emoticon

Hello! I'm not sure anyone is using this, but just in case...I finished W1D1 of the B210K last night. Really liked it and felt good running for the 40 minutes. I was not sure I was going to be able to before I started, but was pleasantly surprised. Hope to see some more people on here soon!

Hi All.

How many apps can one run on a phone at a time? I have the iPhone 3G and would want to run this app over my tunes and run keeper. so 3 things running. should be okay right?

Has anyone found a pod cast for this ??? Problem is I don't have all my tunes on my phone yet. For some reason, iTunes shuts down and goes not responding when trying to synch my phone to it.

I learned after doing some research that the 1st draft of the B210K is 10 weeks, but the current version (which is a better one to transition into after C25K) is only 6 weeks.

I couldn't find the 6 wk plan anywhere, so I downloaded the app for my ipod touch.
Here it is:

Week 1: Brisk 5 minute warm up walk. Run 10 minutes/Walk 1 minute. Repeat 4 times. Five minute cool down walk.

Week 2: Brisk 5 minute warm up walk. Run 15 minutes/ walk 1 minute. Repeat 3 times. Five minute cool down walk.

Week 3: Brisk 5 minute warm up walk. Run 17 minutes/walk 1 minute. Repeat 3 times. Five minute cool down walk.

Week 4: Brisk 5 minute warm up walk. Run 18 minutes/walk 1 minute. Repeat 3 times. Five minute cool down walk.

Week 5: (Day 1) Brisk 5 minute warm up walk. Run 22 minutes/ walk 1 minute. Repeat 2 times. Five minute cool down walk.

Week 5: (day 2) Brisk 5 minute warm up walk. Run 25 minutes/ walk 1 minute. Repeat 2 times. Five minute cool down walk.

Week 5: (day 3) Brisk 5 minute warm up walk. Run 30 minutes/ walk 1 minute. Repeat 2 times. Five minute cool down walk.

Week 6: Brisk 5 minute warm up walk. Run 60 minutes. Five minute cool down walk.

Thanks! I can't wait to start this in about 2 weeks. I'm still on W8 of C25K.

I haven't been able to find any podcasts for this plan at all.

I just looked it up on my Droid and there is an app available for both the iPhone and the Droid. Unfortunately it costs $1.99 - which isn't bad, but it is specifically for phones and not mp3 players.

This seems like a great program, but I don't have an iphone. Just a nano. I don't know anything about apps, but I'm assuming I probably can't use it on my ipod.
