Absolutely.
DAILY, at least for 15 minutes. Minimum.

Stretching is crucial to me. I have fibromyalgia and also arthritis on the spine. Stretches make a HUGE difference in how I feel. Letting stretching slip is just not an option.

I generally stretch after I walk in the mornings. I probably should be doing a lot more.

I stretch after exercise, especially after weight training. I'm more flexible when the muscles are warm after exercising & I get a bigger range of motion.

I also have lower back problems, acting up today, so I'll stretch a little later.

Not as much as I should. I have inflammation in my lower back and hips as well as arthritis and was told the stretching would help to ease it but sometimes it's hard to overlook the initial pain.

Daily! I have back problems and fibromyalgia so staying loose and stretched is the only way I can keep going. If I miss a couple of days I can really tell the difference and I pay for it later. It can literally ean the difference between being able to walk thru the grocery store and not.

Courage isn't always a lion's roar- It is sometimes the heart at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."

Physical therapists have taught me stretches for various problems. They really do help. I don't continue all of them all the time; now it's more of an "as needed" basis.

For my feet, I do calf stretches (for plantar fasciitis).

When I had low back pain, I did several stretches that relieved it. The one I remember is the hamstring stretch. It really helps with back pain relief.

The stationery bike will make my quads very sore if I don't stretch them afterward. (Front of thigh)

By "flexing" exercise, if you mean some kind of active stretch, I don't think it's advised. It can cause injury.

One PT explained to me how stretching after exercising can prevent soreness. If you don't stretch the muscles you've worked, at least walk around or keep moving them for a minute after you exercise. Something about lactic acid emoticon

Daily. I have a spine problem, so my physical therapist recommended some stretches that I can do while laying down. I do them at night and in the morning, they really help my back a lot. emoticon

My hip abductors are a bit tight, so I was told to stretch on a regular basis. I don't usually do this. Do you guys stretch?
