So I was off to a bad start on this challenge...had actually gained a lot of weight, but got back on track a week ago tomorrow!! This week has been very good overall and I am down 8 pounds as of today!! Yes, this is a lot, but a lot of this was water weight for sure as I had been high on the sodium the night before weighing in at the top weight. And I know I will slow down with this. Just happy to have gotten a jump on things the past week. A friend and I actually set a goal from last week to lose 20 pounds by Nov. 14th which is when she and I leave for a Disney trip together with our families! We can do it!!

You've still got lots of time! More than a month, in fact. Personally I can't wait for fall to do more running outside - this humidity is just about killing me!

I can picture it a big 9 to 11 pound turkey bigger than a 4 pound bag of sugar... still on a plateau... trying to lose that turkey... somedays the scale is lower... my next size of shorts are tight and my other size is baggy... I stepped up the exercise to twice a day a few days a week. emoticon

Excellent! I've been losing and gaining the same weight since I started SP so I'm planning on stepping up my game over the next few months!

Did you know that wild turkeys (turkies?) can weigh anywhere from 11 to 24 lbs? No? Well they can! The Canadian Thanksgiving this year is on October 11th which gives us just over nine weeks to make a difference: do you think you can lose a turkey by then?

This challenge will be broken up into smaller two week periods, with the final week being a "race for the turkey" week where we'll just go all out. Sound good?

For the first two weeks here is your template (please customize to your specific needs):

For two weeks, these are my nutrition goals:

emoticon Drink at least 8 cups of water every day.
emoticon Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day.
emoticon To NOT drink Diet Coke!

For two weeks, these are my fitness goals:

emoticon Complete 14 workouts with the 30 Day Shred.
emoticon Work on increasing my mileage in training for my first 10K (anyone else doing the Zoo Run?)
emoticon Go to BodyFlow at my gym at least once a week.

For two weeks, these are my personal goals:

emoticon Read at least two books.
emoticon Write at least two letters.
emoticon Laugh at least once a day.
