I have been exercising and doing a 28 day bootcamp. Feeling pretty good.

For a second week, I have kept doing a little loving-kindness meditation every day. Without this challenge from last week, I would not have gone back to this very good habit. Thanks, TORONTOGRRL79!

This morning I slept for an extra hour instead of going running... Ah! It was so nice!

Nice job last week - let's do it again! I've added an exercise challenge as well (a pretty easy one, don't worry) but I think this is something we should all continue doing. It's important to take time just for you and to realize that you need this! It doesn't make anyone selfish ... it's a chance to recharge your own battery.

I've spent quite a bit of time researching my next adventure in life, which has definitely been me time. Last night I also left work a little early and took the evening to myself - watched a favourite show, played a video game, then went to sleep early. Much needed relaxation and destress time.

Great challenge Amanda!

I definitely want to try different kinds of yoga, including hot yoga!! I go to BodyFlow, which is good, but not as "zen"... you know what I mean?? I do enjoy the relaxation track at the end though... I actually fell asleep on Wednesday it was so relaxing!!

I think tonight I will take a warm bath to relax some more! Thanks for this awesome challenge!

Meditation and yoga for relaxation purposes are AWESOME things to do for yourselves!

I definitely want to try meditating, although I have serious problems sitting still, so I'm not sure how that'll go. I've only ever tried 1 yoga class (usually I opt for the yoga/pilates/tai chi combo) so I'll have to give it another go. Some day I'm gonna try hot yoga!

I love this challenge! At last a challenge I can participate in in spite of my health challenges!

I decided to meditate at least 10 minutes per day. Since my objective is to eat more mindfully and to honour my body's signals for hunger and satiety, meditating would be one tool to help me stop eating without hunger.

I did a meditation called "Simple Loving-Kindness Meditation" from a book by Stephen Levine titled 'Healing into Life and Death'. I find it a lovely way to change the perspective of my morning.

Ooops! I forgot to do the meditation on Saturday, but I did do a little bit of mat and stability ball and chair exercises, really enjoyed it (in spite of being in a lot of pain) and released a lot of endorphins. I had fun! The little bit of exercise I am able to do is not enough for weight-loss, but it's a pleasant leisure activity for me.

I have removed the burden and stress of calorie tracking from my shoulders.

I have taken the time to sit down and read.

I went to yoga for relaxation purposes, not to workout. YAY!

On Sunday I sent out an email challenging you to take a few minutes out of every day to do something just for you. What did you do?

I've done a few things for me this week - I had ice cream for my brother's birthday (just a little, I promise!), I went to a concert with my BFF on Tuesday, I got a pedicure ...
