Goal 2000 .... despite rotten month I made it past 1600

but most important to me was that I managed to nudge the cardio % up to the next level for the second month in a row .... Hooray! If I can do one more big push like that in June, I could finally get back to where I was before the three months of hives - Hooray! Then maybe I'll finally be able to make some decent forward progress again...

CAZ - Wow! Way to go! You made that goal and had over a third of the month left to go. Impressive. I sure could use you around ...

My month was the worst ever.
Week 1 .... sick so almost no exercise

Week 2 .... no conventional exercise but tons of stress and alot of moving heavy boxes and furniture but also dozens of hours trapped in a car driving (and having tough time finding decent food choices). And stressed out to the max especially when I had to file a police report and deal with insurance company as discovered that someone broke into my mother's cottage and had totally trashed it - throwing food from cabinets all over, breaking things, stealing stupid things (like forks and spatulas), BUT Worst part - riping out plumbing and wiring and destroying appliances and vaccums and destroyed the water tank and well pump/tank (but left all the bits and pieces there but totally mutilated).
Stealing while bad makes sense but just massive destruction for no reaon is just stupid and -----

Week 3 .... should have done exercise but instead just came home and collapsed and accomplished nothing for a week (except maybe laundry)

Week 4 .... well, it finally stopped raining so I'm spending all my free time early/late in days trying to turn what looks like a hayfield back into a yard etc; Temps jumped from 50s last week to 80s this week so not dealing well with the temperature change ...so...
Tonight I'll be up most of the night cooking so I can turn off the oven in the morning and leave it off for the next few days. That's the plan at least .... but I was good and did a real strength training session first (But, must confess that that was my first good hard regular exercise session of the month .....

My renewed effort to start fresh in June starts today!

OK, I'm going to be going into an internet blackhole for at least a week soon and then again in the not too distant future...so, I may not be posting but weekly this month... but I'll be thinking of you all and sending healthy, skinny, smiling and chuckling vibes.

My immediate goal is finding the oldfashioned notebook and pencil to pack so I can remember what I did
AND
trying to figure out how/what I'm counting some of the extremely heavy housework and furniture moving that will be occuring while I'm lost in the blackhole (and how I'm going to find the necessary time and energy to do some normal exercising.) sigh...


Major goal for next two months is to continue to increase the cardio now that I'm healthier and the hives rarely recurr now and allergy season for me is passing its midpoint (Hooray! I'm seeing the light and it may be the light at the end of the tunnel rather than an oncoming train. Hooray! I'm feeling more optimistic now.)

I have been doing about 1100-1200 fitness minutes. I will do _1300_ fitness minutes the month of May.

I will do some type of exercise daily, be it a walk in or out, strength and or a dvd. Been doing well lately. I don't chart most of it on here cos not sure how. Some of the things I do I haven't a clue how to figure the amts. for. especially t tapp.

But I am a moving, first thing, then I come here! LOL

I was updating all my trackers and challenges and just noticed that we never got the fitness challenge started for this month. I love this challenge because they give me a bit more motivation, especially on those "feeling lazy" days, to push myself and squeeze in some exercise.
I know you all are experimenting with other challenges ...but ..... since I can't go online alot over the next couple months, this one works better for me. And since it is still working motivationally, I'm going to carry it on.
So,
here is the start of May Fitness challenge. Feel free to go back to all your trackers so far this month to bring this up-to-date.

The base of the Mediterranean Pyramid is physical activity. This is a personal challenge designed to help TMW achieve a more active life style. You will be competing against yourself.

Figure out how many fitness minutes you want to do for the month of May and then record each day's time. Remember you are competing against yourself. If you have health issues your minutes will look very different than if you are a seasoned athlete. No worries - do your best.
