I will do 2500 fitness minutes the month of January.

Thru 1/28... minutes=2560
Done early thanks to getting 4ft of snow, half last week and the balance this week. I've been counting 50-70% of my shoveling time as cardio as it is more exhausting than regular cardio work! I've been moving all the snow this month just me and my shovel. No plows. No snowblowers. Just me and my shovel... with occasional companion with their own shovel (or I'd still be out there now).

Love the "Sanity Saturday" idea.

I think I need to add something like that to my schedule when I get around to seriously scheduling 2011 rather than cleaning up from 2010. Obviously I may need to schedule an "AntiProcrastination Day" first.

I will do 320 fitness minutes the month of January.

I feel I need to justify the low number to you. I'm new to Spark and not certain I can stick with it.

So I've set myself the goal of 10 minutes per day for 5 days a week. One day of 30 minutes per week. And one rest day (I call it Sanity Saturday because it's my day to re-focus my life).

I will do 320 fitness minutes the month of January.

I am in for this one too!!
Just tracking for this challenge has been one of the best ways for me to overcome the inertia when it strikes. Still struggling to get healthy and back to the level that I was in pre-Thanksgiving before sickly month set in. I'm setting the bar higher anyway hoping that in another week or two I'll be able to pick up the pace on exercising again.

I will do 780 fitness minutes the month of January. Setting a low but realistic goal for me. I've fallen off the exercise wagon and am struggling to climb back on. 30 minutes of exercise 6 days a week is my goal for January.

The base of the Mediterranean Pyramid is physical activity. This is a personal challenge designed to help TMW achieve a more active life style. You will be competing against yourself.

Figure out how many fitness minutes you want to do for the month of December and then record each day's time. Remember you are competing against yourself. If you have health issues your minutes will look very different than if you are a seasoned athlete. No worries - do your best.
