Well done for working out the sources of your stress, and also for being able to type them out loud.
Diss from the kids is dreadful, and can be so difficult to deal with. I hope a good sit down and discuss could maybe help to clear the air.
But be prepared to be upset - some of the time they may be reckoning that you are dissing them. They have their own "rules".
With DH, I hope it all works out for you. Well done for grabbing the bull by the horns, so to speak, to start some communications.
It's taken me a long time to get this one happening in my life - but we seem to be getting there, gradually. And I am so pleased and relieved that this is happening, cos I love him - it's why I married him etc.
Sometimes, it takes a major nudge to both partners to get them back to communicating and to remembering why they are together.

kids think that it is O.K. to be disrespectful of
you ! I suppose your husband hasn't witnessed any
of this...Perhaps he's the one who should correct
your kids. Otherwise, a friend or relative.

I took the stress test and found out I am vulnerable to stress. No surprise there! This week I was able to pinpoint some of the things that cause me the most stress are:

1. work- right now they are changing the way we do things and it is hard for me to change after almost 5 years of doing the same thing.
2. my kids- my two oldest kids are going through a stage where they think it is okay to be disrespectful to me.
3. marital disagreements- I hate conflict.

So my plans are to try to stay positive and keep an open mind during this change at work because there is nothing I can do about it. Then I will spend some time doing some research on some creative parenting ideas for my children. And last but definitely not least I will do some talking with my husband about the stress it causes me to disagree and see if we can work on better communication.

By the end of this challenge I hope that I can handle stress better and maybe find ways to minimize the stress around me since I know it is not possible to never have stressful situations in life.
