Trying to get my hubby on board with this is my biggest challenge. As a bachelor, he was used to eating whatever (usually starchy, fatty globs of food stuffs) and however much he wanted (used serving and storage containers as bowls and plates). But I am not giving up. I cook most of the meals in the house, but I need to find something to curb his late night snacking.

Those are great goals! Starting small and slowly incorporating changes is the best way to go about it. Good luck!!

My daughter worked out with me today and I know that my son will sometimes. They're all about fruits, my daughter is willing to start eating her veggies. She talks about being healthy all the time (She's 6 1/2). The boy is 4 and is reisistant to me cutting back on his sweets, but we'll muddle through. My husband is on board surface level, but has no energy to start moving more. he works a fast paced resteraunt job and is wiped by the time he returns home. I've been slowly changing his diet (with his consent) and he has been making wiser choices. I'm hoping the more nutritionally dense items I get in him (we juice and do smoothies with oatmeal in them) the more energy he will have. My hope is to get him to do a 10 min walk with me and the kids and then a little bit of strength training.

I have the STRENGTH
to SUCCEED!
