With my boyfriend, who complains about wanting to lose weight and saving money, I have gotten to the point I have been picking out multiple recipes on the spark recipe page, doing the same old budgeting for the groceries and making three or four of them for dinner throughout the week. I also prepare the plates after cooking and put the leftovers in the refrigerator right away. This has helped him eat healthy and he is starting to request the foods :-) Anger great thing about storing the leftovers right away, is he has healthy food to take to work for lunch:-) Will say we do have some failures with some recipes (way too health tasting) and he starts thinking the re pipes need to stop so the next night I just make one of the recipes he likes:-)

My husband keeps telling me that we need to save more money and that he needs to lose weight etc. My problem is that every time I try to talk about making a plan for saving money, eating better, and exercising as a family he is VERY resistant almost like I am trying to boss him around just be wanting to discuss a solution. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get the ball rolling without offending my husband? emoticon
