Week 1 I've spent sick with a cold or flu, not sure which one. Feeling a bit more like myself today and I am going to try going for a walk on the treadmill at the gym during lunch today. Nothing that'll over exert myself, but just to get moving. I'm so idle when I'm sick, like most people are and now that I'm feeling a bit better, it's time to get moving again.

Well this was a fitting goal for the week, reduce screen time. The weather has been improving so we've been trying to spend more time outside either in the yard or walking/hiking as time permits. We currently have 1- 1 1/2 hours in the evening where we are either watching tv or doing something pc/game related like this evening for example where I'm here on my laptop on the sofa and he is playing a console game. Since there are no children in the house to encourage to be more active the dogs win that spot. I had the back door open for them all afternoon and they had more activity than is usual. Everytime they got comfy laying in the grass I called them to the door only for them to run back to the yard after some bird that had the nerve to land in a tree nearby.

Still working out what to do with our "off' days. We only go to the gym M,W&F so Tuesday and Thursday I need to work on things to do, working in the yard is only going to require a higher level of attention for so long even with the vegetable garden we're putting in this year. The same for weekends. I don't think the the issue with us has ever been a lack of desire to do things but instead a lack of engaging things to do that will hold our interest so I best start thinking up some ideas.
