Just joining this challenge I am still looking over everything. However one thing I did want to share is a few of my food changes with my family that I already started (a few weeks ago).

I started using whole wheat pasta and bread instead of the normal "white" pastas and breads. With the pasta change, my kids havent noticed the difference!! Yay! As for the bread they know it is different but they dont seem to care. As long as their peanut butter or ham is on the bread they are just fine with it.

We have also started eating more yogurt as a treat, and making fresh fruit smoothies with strawberries, bananas, yogurt and juice. I must say they certainly are delicious even in our -30 degree weather!

Due to our schedules, family dinners arent able to happen until late at night if at all. So we usually try and have a family snack, or sometimes early lunch when Adam (my live in boyfriend) is home on his break. The weekends are easier, every meal is a family meal then.

My next goal is to cut out pop completely from the adult lives. The kids dont have it so thats already a plus, now to get the adults to stop drinking it! Wish us luck!!
