Go to bed earlier each night. Don't watch tv in bed. Soothing music as I fall asleep

Trying this again.
I need to go to bed the same time nightly and develop a routine where I can relax for 60 minutes before bed, nothing done during that time.

I also need to plan my daily list for the next day in the afternoon so I do not wake up in the middle of the night adding to it, this way I can add to while awake in the early evening.

My biggest challenge is getting to sleep on time. That is my main goal at this time.I set timers on my phone to ring at 8:30, 9:30, and 10 pm. I need to be in bed at 10.

First time in MONTHS, I got two nights in a row that were 8 hours each! MIRACLE! Just doing the journal has helped me since I am more aware of what I am doing and have to think about it. I did Week 1 for two weeks and it is paying off. emoticon

I apparently run on 6 and a half hours. I cannot sleep any longer. Then about once every 3 months I go into sleep mode, cannot stay awake, go to bed and sleep up to 12 hours. Then my body resets to the 6 and a half

Try for a perfect week of 8 hours per night.
Try some deep breathing in bed to see if it helps slow my mind down.

Establish a consistent 7 plus hours of actual sleep. Fitbit has shown me my error.

Slowly adjust schedule to allow for short (20-30 minute) cardio session first thing in the mornings.
