Go to bed by 11:00 - hopefully that will also be before I fall asleep in my recliner.
Eat dinner earlier - with our schedule I try to have dinner by 8 but most nights it is a challenge. My goal will be to have dinner done and picked up before 8.
Wear my c-pap mask for a longer time each night - normally I fall asleep with it on and wake up after 3-4 hours and cannot fall back asleep with it.

My goals
1. Try for 10 every night. (Im seeing this is quite difficult-impossible, so if not 10, then 11)
2. Wake up 6:30
3. Stop getting on computer late at night, or playing games on my iPhone to help me 'relax'.
4. Try to start doing this on the weekends as well. Maybe an hour later, and an hour later of sleep, bit by bit.

4. Get 7 hours of hopefully restful, uninterrupted sleep 5 nights a week. A girl can dream....

My ultimate goal is to get atleast 8 hours of sleep every work night so that I can function better during the day.On my off days I am hoping for 9 good hours of rest. I have my children doing the challenge with me because we are late getting out the house EVERY morning and it drives me insane. Waking up early and STILL managing to be late. So, I need more quality sleep and more hours of sleep and that is my goal. 5 days a weak.

I actually have two goals. One goal is to get 7 hrs. of sleep each night and go to bed and wake up at the same time 7 days a week. Second goal is not to get on the computer just before I go to bed as this gets me distracted and I don't get to bed until real late.

I would like 8 hours of solid sleep. Although I do get 8 hours, it includes tossing and looking at clock many times during night. I would also like to be able to nap when extremely tired.

I had to modify my goal a bit. Since I'm not used to getting 8 hours of sleep if I tried I would just lay there. Boring. So I'm going to build up to 8 hrs but starting with 7.

My goals are related to the very small space I live in and because it is so close to other apartments I use a face mask and ear plugs to drown out noise and light. I also put my radio on sleep mode and fall asleep to the BBC World News. This wasn't always my habit, but I'm dependent on it for now. I'd like to slowly take away these crutches and fall asleep more naturally. I hope in 4 weeks I can use the radio less or not at all and stay asleep without waking up more than once in the early, early morning. I sleep lighter when I wake around 3:30a.m. and turn the sleep mode back on the radio again.

Goals for this, hmm, hard to put into words. I'd like to get in the habit of having regular sleep hours.

ETA: I am, and have always been EXTREMELY hyperactive- Yes, this has been diaganosed by several MD's - so 8 hours of sleep is not likely for me, unless I am really sick BUT I am convinced that it would be healthier for me to have a sleep schedule, so I am making that my goal.

My biggest challenge? I'm married to a night owl, and the only "us" time we have is after we get kids to bed, etc. By then I'm getting ready for bed, but he's settling in to do his emailing, etc. I usually sit and talk to him while he showers, but I can't stay up an extra hour just to do that -- not and be rested in the morning.

My goals:

bedtime: 10:30 p.m.
wake time: 6-7 a.m.

I'm in bed for around 8 hours each night, but very little quality sleep each night. My goal is to get a routine before bed and keep a sleep journal to hopefully pinpoint why I get less sleep on certain nights. Ultimately, I'm hoping that getting quality sleep will help my daytime exhaustion.

I would love to get a good non interrupted sleep. This is a great challenge for me as I have just retired and need to set a schedule for myself. I will attempt to keep the following sleep schedule.
Wake at 7:30
Sleep by 11:00
I find I keep waking up during the night. Hopefully this will soon end

I want to consistently get 8 hours of sleep. My goal is to stop putting off going to bed until I'm exhausted, but instead to take better care of me and stay on a healthy schedule, going to bed on time. Perhaps I should go to bed when the puppy falls asleep! LOL!

I seem to go through cycles where I'll do great at getting enough quality sleep and then drop off and somehow think I can make it on 3-4 hours a night, or 11-12. Never works, but somehow I always get back to that place. I joined this challenge to set up lifelong habits to assist in getting good sleep.

Here are my goals:
In bed by 10:30 each night.
Out of bed by 8:00 each morning.
Start getting ready for bed at 9:30.

Who am I? I am Momma Malfoy, Qira Darklighter of Tatooine, Dr. Watson, Elizabeth Darcy, Gemma in Narnia, Jillian/Jelly Bean in Wonderland, Lady Emera of Gondor, Ann-Marie the Teacher, Captain Ems on Pandora, Doc Holliday, Doctor Silver on the Enterprise, Damaris in Ancient Greece, and anyone else I want to be!

Last night I got about 3 hours sleep but I made myself get up out of bed at 8 am, instead of lying in. A goal for this week is to establish a regular bedtime and wake up time.
In bed by 10:30 pm.
Out of bed by 8 am.
I will also set a night time ritual of listing my gratitudes, drinking warm milk and taking a bath.
My goal is to do this for seven days in a row.
I'm so glad this challenge has been set up. Just what I needed.
