emoticon 2 Day 3 ST video's today; 1 cardio video tonight and one jump start video tonight. Unfortunately, unable to walk at work today due to meetings, including lunch; wintery weather keeps me in the house tonight. Calories good; water good; fruits and veggies good; hanging in there, racing toward bootcamp finish line. I am keeping my long term goals in the back of my mind too!! Keep on Sparking!!!

I'm on week 4, day 3. My long term goals are to contiune with 6 days cardio, strength training 3 days and tracking my food.

There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results. EDT.

I did the day 3 video 3 times yesterday and the day 4 video twice today. (We were away from home all day). Plan to do the day 5 video three times tomorrow along with a 3 mi walk. I may not be losing the weight but I can tell I'm losing inches here and there.

I will be beyond happy when the 4 week bootcamp challenge is completed - 4 more days to go! This cardio five days in a row is KILLING my knees! Oh I do exercise everyday but normally I do cardio three days a week with strength training, Pilates or stability ball workouts in-between which gives my knees a break. But I can hang in there a few more days! emoticon

I am now on my 4th week of the bootcamp challenge. My long term goals are to up my cardio to 5 days per week and keep my strength training at 3 days per week. I also want to keep logging my nutrition on here because it`s something so simple to do at the end of the day. It really makes me think first before eating anything I would regret. I think the biggest difference will definitely come from the nutrition logging, because I had not been logging this all the time before.

Did day 2 video - lower body 2 x. Twice during week 4 was still easier than 1 x in week one. I also did day one again today. I always can use a little more cardio.

I'm on W4D2, and I am really hungry today. I'm going to find some celery after I post this.

My long-term goals are to do cardio 5 days a week until I reach my goal weight. And then reduce it down to 3 or 4 days a week for maintenance. I'll also be sticking with 2 days of strength training per week. Other goals are to have more vegetables ready to snack on.

Yippee yeah I'm getting closer each and every day. I have decided to reinlist in the 28 day boot camp. I am pleased with my progress. I'm no longer the weak willy I once was but I still have quite a ways to go. I'm going to persist at boot camp until I master it and can readily do several sets of each one. After that I'm not sure what I'll do. One thing I am sure of: I am going to continue strength training as part of my life style. Yipee yeah. SO many videos so little time. LOL Have a good week everybody!

This challenge was the kick in the pants I needed.

I began SP in January, and so far have lost 10lbs!!!
The videos reminded me of the importance of stretching, the safe ways to do my floor exercises, and the need to vary my routines.

*** In addition to the videos, i have done over 2200 minutes of cardio this month, and might make it to 3000 by the 31st!!! I am so happy.

Thank you, Sparkpeople for helping me find my motivation :0)

Yep, I'm seriously struggling with cravings today too (there's a jar of peanut butter mocking me in the kitchen right now) which is odd as I haven't had any for the last 3 weeks. I'm going to try the butt blasting workout tomorrow, I have started training to run a 10k in May. This Boot Camp is the most amazing thing I've ever done, I didn't think I could feel so motivated for so long.

I started doubling up the videos two days ago, didn't even know I was supposed to do that. This challenge has been hard because I have not seen any movement in the scale-although I am feeling better. I did notice a change this week, so I guess those new muscles are doing their thing. I want to keep up with the strength training as it was the one part that was missing from habits. The challenge has helped me to make it a regular part of my morning. Thank you.

My continuing goal is to do 10-20 minutes of strength training 6-7 days a week and 30-60 minutes of cardio 5 days a week. I am also going to find another challenge group when this one ends. I'm hoping that there's a new challenge every month. I like the level of accountability that it brings.
My long-term goal is to enroll in a dance class. I am scared to death of it, but I love dancing!!

I guess what I'm really going to talk about is week 5; the week I'm establishing goals for. I'm going to continue doing 10 minutes or so of strength training 6 days a week, followed by my 40 minutes of cardio 5 days a week, and finish it up with some stretching.

I have lost 7 lbs in 3 weeks - which is meeting my goal of 2 lbs per week. I find that the cardio exercise (elliptical, treadmill) takes more time - so on the weekend I will go for 60 minutes, and during the week less if i workout during work. I like the break during lunch to work out - it clears my mind and helps me stay focused at work. I am doing some strength conditions with free weights as well. Good luck everyone...this is a life-long challenge and commitment :)

I'm in Week 4 and I feel great. I really have enjoyed the Bootcamp videos and have made it a habit to exercise in the morning. My long-term goals are to:
- Continue my morning routine of working out 20-45 minutes in the morning.
- Embrace the workouts that make me happy. I don't like the gym. I do like short circuits of both cardio and strength-training in one workout session. I also like yoga, pilates, tae bo, salsa dancing, barre work, hiking, and swimming. I can live an active, healthy life without going to a gym.
- Try 5 new workouts a month. Like others on the SP, I've discovered that I can get workouts on my DVR and I love the variety. I'm ready to discover new things.
- Continue to track my food and fitness. I love being able to see the gold stars on my SparkPeople calendar.

Good luck everybody on Week 4!

Week 3 felt great, but I am struggling through Week 4 due to sinus yuck and low energy. I am still determined to finish. Haven't seen much weight change, but I am noticing that my pants fit a little better, so that's worth celebrating.
The short challenge format has really improved my exercise consistency. I will have to look for similar opportunities throughout the year.

The days are long, but the years are short.

As a challenge, I've been doing each video x the number of the week. For example, yesterday was Day 1 of Week 4 so I did the cardio video 4 times. I've moved up from doing only the modified positions to doing the full positions / exercises + the challenge. My weight hasn't changed in 3 weeks, but my measurements certainly have. I've gone down one pant size and my stomach is definitely smaller - which is a whoo hoo!

I go to YouTube on the PS3 so I can show each video on the TV, which makes it so easy. I love Coach Nicole - she is a great motivator!

This program has helped me restart my exercise program - I actually look forward to working out each day.

Thank you, SparkPeople!

I've been using the bootcamp as a way to get back into daily (at least 6 days a week) workout habit. I think I've achieved that, so I hope to be able to continue and get back to the gym now. I think I've gotten back up to speed after two months of not exercising much at all. Yippee!

Today is the 2nd day of Week 4 for me and I've really enjoyed the past few weeks. I'm definitely in a better place than I was at the end of 2010 and I think the bootcamp was just what I needed to get back on track for 2011.

My long term goals are to continue strength training weekly while fitting in 30 minutes of cardio at least 5 times per week. Each month I'm going to keep my body guessing by changing routines. This month is standard ST with cardio on the treadmill and elliptical. Next month I'm changing it up with Jillian Michael's the Shred. For March I'll be starting spin classes for my cardio and going back to ST.
Working out consistently makes me feel so much better and energized each day and I want to make that my long term goal. Six days a week of exercise. One day of rest. Also - I really LOVE the bootcamp videos, so I'm going to keep those going for the long term.

Today is W4D2 for me. I really like the format for this series; so much so this is the 2nd time around for me! Ive been doing the videos 2x along with my cardio-ramping up some intervals. Ive gotten so I actually like to exercise and I think the results Im showing are starting to motivate my hubby! WooHoo!
So my long term goals are to continue working out with SP, doing more strength training and making my next 50 years my healthiest.

Just started week 4!

One of the goals I set was more Strength training - and this has helped so much! I used to be a 3 times a week strength trainer, but the almost every day seems to work for me REALLY well, so I think alternating body areas may be my new mantra - and I not only have Sparkvideos for that, but a Spark friend told me about OnDemand videos on my cable, and Lo and behold, THERE THEY ARE! I am excited to try some.

Also been taking extra on to cardio - which is good, as long as I stay flexible. Lately my knee doesn't like inclines of any sort, so yesterday it was just adding 15 minutes to a flat treadmill workout - worked out just great!
