I was going along great and then came down with a minor bug, but bad enough that it zapped my energy to complete all of the workouts. Luckily I got enough snow shoveling done early in the week to boost my cardio minutes. I've lost 5 lbs so far so I'm excited to get back on track next week. I've been diligent about tracking my food which is key for me...keeps me from popping that extra something into my mouth before I go to bed.

Week 3 was difficult to keep on track. I followed the bootcamp but changed up the videos using the ones that incorporate the stability ball and bands and walked over 15 miles. I just lost momentum due to stress and this bug I've caught. I'm hoping Week 4 gets me back on track.

Completed videos 5, 6 and 7 as well as 3.3mile hill walk today. No change in weight - maintaining - and doing bootcamp as a way to give metabolism a nudge and get some variation to usual workouts

I've been doing fairly well tracking my food, although I didn't do it the last two days. :o( I still was a mindful eater. I had a big loss in the first week of the challenge, from 168 to 165, but have only lost a pound and a half since then. Trying to stay positive. Looking forward to week 4!

Finished week 3! Have been tracking my food every day and was able to eat 5-7 fruits/veggies without a problem. Also, between this challenge, my new snowshoes and all the shoveling I've had to do, I've already logged in over 1000 hours of fitness this month! Great start to my goals!

I have not been exercising as much as I need to because I haven't had time to do the 30 minutes cardio. However, I did do the 10 minute stretches each day which helped me to get thru the day.

So grateful for the continuity offered by this challenge. I'm far more motivated to exercise and I got the wii going again. 161 days since my last log-in there. I wouldn't have started it again if it hadn't been for SP. Thank you!

Finishing Week 3 today - with videos 5, 6 and 7 - I've been doing the videos on the days when I do not have ST at gym - today I'm walking the neighbourhood hills too - but not timing it as I am nursing a sore knee (even gave up my dancing on Friday night because of it :( but it can walk!)

Food tracking, fruit and veg still on target - no weight loss - not expecting it as I'm maintaining - would be nice to drop 1 or 2 kgs though but not stressing - rather be fit and healthy than scraggy which is what could happen

I finished my third week of the boot camp challenge! This has been, dare i say it.......FUN. I have loved it. It has been challenging, I have done boot camp workouts, and added an extra one each day. I have done 40 minutes of cardio each day, tracked my food and made sure to eat a ton of fruits and veggies! that has felt great actually. A bit of a challenge! ready for week 4!

Week 3 was a great week. It forced me to push myself a little bit more. Compared to last week I did 30 min. more of cardio this week. In these 3 weeks I have lost 5 pounds, and I am very happy with my progress. Most important, though, I am happy that I am creating new good habits to replace some of my bad habits.

Bit of a tough week. Donated blood on Wednesday, so took a couple of days off. Did 45 minute run today + 3 bootcamp videos. I'll try to finish off tomorrow with another 45 minute run and an extra video.

okay, have found it challenging to stick with it every day... but when I miss a day, I have managed to make it up the next day. Thanks to my DD, she has kept me going when I didn't feel like doing it. just wish it wasn't so difficult to do some of the exercise. (because of my size)

Todays exercise:

30 minutes cardio with Jillian Micheals Shred workout
10 minute Day 7 Bootcamp workout
10 minute Jump Rope Cardio Workout
20 minute dumb bell workout

Fruits and veggies at 6 with no Dinner yet so that will be within goal too.
I'm looking forward to Week 4.I don't think I've made a change in weight during this bootcamp...I seem to be on a hopless plateau,But my body DOES look more toned. It's subtle but there.

Just completed week 3! Wow! Do to the core exercises in the video, P90X abs, and ab workout with friends my core is achy! In the good way. Besides tomorrow cardio video and maybe some gentle yoga I am planning for tomorrow to be a day of rest! besides all the core workouts I have gotten in over 30 minutes of cardio each day from doing walking, elliptical, stair master and yoga.

This and two other challenges I am taking part in are really keep me focused and motivated to exercise. Thinking I might take the healthy cooking challenge to really get my food in check.

Hope everyone had a great week! :) Here we come Week 4!

Finished week three! Did all the videos still added a new video every day or repeated a workout I liked. Upped my cardio from 30 minutes to 40 minutes. I feel pretty awesome. Noticed my energy level is up and even though I had a rough emotional day yesterday and i didn't run for the comfort foods. I have also notice in the last couple days my work out pants are getting looser.! emoticon

Just finished day 6 of week 3 and glad to be slowly making it into the HABIT FORMING ZONE since i think the spark clain that it takes 21+ days to begin to turn something into a habit is true for me!
I's been a challenge to get in the outdoor cardio this week - very icy and cold and miss putting in the smae mileage. Might even rejoin the gym....Hmmmm.

Made it through week 3 and must admit there was at least one day when I felt like skipping it but I stuck to it and felt better for doing so. Have started adding extra strength or yoga practice to my weekly routine and working on changing up my cardio. Weather has been cold and yucky out limiting my outdoor time- since I just don't plain enjoy frigid temps or rain. The challenge is helping me stay accountable and I am now starting week 4 today! Slow progress on the scale, but staying consistent so that's what I am happy with.

Come on week 4!

Week 3 Done, unable to do all that I wanted. Had to rest my knee for couple of days, but back at it today and hopefully the rest will keep my knee going for a while.

Week 3 complete emoticon Clothes are fitting better and a few lbs gone emoticon I did the stairs the other day with a co-worker (11 flights)and some lunges and was not really winded. My co-worker (half my size) was really winded and had started doing them earlier in the week. I'm better off than I think I am sometimes emoticon

Just finished week three. I have lost 3lbs this week. Could really see the change until a coworker notice that I was losing weight. Feeling more motivated and ready for week 4. Lets keep up the good work! emoticon

I'm not QUITE done with week 3, and I am seeing my strength increase, definitely. My weight is coming off, albeit quite slowly, but I'm losing inches. I wish I weren't so tied to what my scale reads, but I confess to being scale-dependent. I can live with that. My pants are fitting better than they have in months, too.

Good news!

Lynn

YEAH FOR US Finishing week three! I noticed I've had more energy and less tiredness this week. Clothes are definitely fitting better and I'm as pleased as punch that I did each day twice through. However day seven still kicks my butt. I realize I have a lot of core building to do.

I have a dream....
