Sorry you have not been feeling well. There is a great deal of that type of problem around. You have a great attitude. Do what you can, give yourself time to heal and you will be more acively taking part.

Having a rough 2 weeks; been sick and havent been able to get out of week 2 yet. Hard to cardio while having coughing fits. Logging food and being mindful of what I am eating though. Took time to put it on...it'll take some time to take it off- just have to stay positive.

Day 3 week two. Walked half hour outdoors this am, walked and ran another half hour on the treadmill this afternoon and ten minute lower body workout Spark Video.
Was out of town and unable to do the ten minute video yesterday but swam and did water aerobics as well as an outdoor walk.

Completed day five of bootcamp. I have completed my two extra videos and will complete tracking meals after dinner. I always (with a few exceptions try and track nutrition.) Completed the additional cardio, but I lean to that as my preference. The tough part for me are the toning viedos. That is why I really like the bootcamp format.

I'm starting week 2 over: have gotten in workouts and started logging the food. I have my prize materials and the timing is great! I'm going to wrestle some control over my schedule and get these workouts in!

I've done pretty good this week with my cardio and have done all the videos plus the extra video. I did the runners/jogger stretching video. I've also tracked all my food, however I've been eatting a lot so I'm not sure if I've lost weight or not. I weigh in tomorrow. But I feel good and I can tell a difference in how my clothes are fitting. So I'm happy with that.

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."

Hi! I have four munchkins too. I dont have any advice, Im in week 2 day 4 and have not seen the scale move yet! I just wanted to offer a little moral support from another busy working mom! Do you think you are replacing fat with lean muscle and arent seeing the difference on the scale? Does your hubby see any changes?

this 2nd week i got all of the 10-minute videos done each day with the bonus videos too. had a little trouble getting in the cardio, but got it done at night instead of first thing in the morning.

last week i had no trouble getting the cardio done first thing in the morning, had problems getting in the videos.

BALANCE - it's a challenge. for the third week i hope to get the cardio done first thing in the morning, videos done at lunchtime, and do something active with the family on the weekend.

am i having fun? yes! am i losing weight? no. but my goal is to be healthy and happy. am i? YES!

Gee this is getting harder and harder seriously, I didn't want to work out today so much so that I waited all the way till after 9 in the evening to do after the kids were in bed. Husband was busy, I got some weights today so that excited me so I could do the workouts right. Very excited for sure. It means a lot to me that I did it even though I didn't want to. Good luck everyone. Keep up the good work.

Week 2, day 1
Completed first video and added the kick-box workout after reading other's reviews. Good workouts but finding I am so un-co-ordinated! Perhaps after repetitions there will be improvement. Did my best and it felt good.
I also did my usual 6 a.m. outdoor walk/jog for 35 minutes so all-in-all, a good day.

Today is Day 1 of Week 2 for me. I started mid week and now my weekly goals and challanges are out of synch with the Teams.

I'm super motivated, and looking forward to keeping up with Spark People so I can ROCK my bathingsuit this summer! I didnt see much change on the scale this morning, but I feel so much more energetic, I have been able to cut back a cup of coffee each day!

I'm very excited, I have been doing really well with SparkPeople for over a month now, and was a little nervous about joining, i like to finish what I start. But, I did it, the walking cardio is not an issue for me, I hate strength training simply because it's hard for me being overweight and out of shape, but it was perfect. I did the whole weeks challenges! I'm very excited. And, even got my Mother to join the diabetese challenge. I know it's an overlap, but we really need help with that issue. Good luck everyone, it feels so good!

Week 2 Day 2. Still working on doing something every day. I have had to do more than one video in one day a few times now. Yoga, walking, the bootcamp videos and today I will be adding the stability ball workout video to the mix as my extra video. My poor stability ball has been gathering dust! emoticon

I think I was supposed to say what extra strength video I picked, but I forgot. So, a week late, but here it is. :) I chose the Butt Blasting workout, which I was a little sorry I chose, but I stuck with it. haha I did get through it, so I guess it was fine after all.

First Day of week 2 I just had to try the kick boxing video as an extra video today, since I read so much about it from other sparkers. Found it to be pretty good and with just a few modifications even us big girls could do it all!!!!

I finished Week Two! I have been tracking my food intake for several months now so that was a no brainer and I have been going to the gym three days a week so I am getting 60 minutes of cardio when I go and 30 minutes of strength training. I haven't lost any weight in two weeks but I feel much better and I am working out again and that is very important to me!

Just read the action steps for Week 2. I have chosen the cardio video for Day 1 New YOU Bootcamp to add to Tuesday and Thursday. I am also committing myself to tracking my food three days this week, starting today. I have a very busy week ahead and it's going to be difficult to fit everything in, but not impossible. I want to do it because I want to be successful.

Good luck everybody!! emoticon
