feeling like I am getting a little of my brain back! Funny how exercise does that for you. On Day 1 of week 2 Did the Day 1 Bootcamp video and went for a 20 min walk/run. Still nursing a foot that I injured last week, feels fine when I am running but tends to get me later on in the day. Just a puncture wound and bruised foot but still starts to remind me by the afternoon I should be resting it still emoticon Keep at it sparkers we are doing awesome!!!

Hello again. I finished day one by doing the video and chose another one today also. I chose the Kick boxing again, because it is so much fun. Then I did 30 min of step aerobics. I am really loving this challenge!!! emoticon

I completed Day 2. My bonus was doing Day 1 again and the Jump Start Cardio workout. Hope to include some ab work later after catching my breathe! emoticon

Day 2 video done. Yay!
Noticed that I am getting stronger, I was able to focus much more proper form this week vs last time I did this video. I increased my weights as well. I went from 16.9 oz (water bottles) to 30 oz (Kraft Miracle Whip and Mayo). Can't afford new workout equipment at this point, so I use my unopened stuff from the kitchen pantry. LOL

I might not be taking off the pounds as quickly as I'd like, but my strength is noticeably increased. Especially in the legs.

I can feel my muscles coming back to life. It feels good. :)

I still owe another 10 minutes in cardio today, but it'll have to wait until later. I'm due to return to work shortly.

Keep up the great job. I'm glad to see so many getting such positive results.

Doing OK with exercise but I now know why I don't track my food. It takes me far too long. I make a lot of things from scratch and it is so tricky to track my meals. So I will do it for this challenge but I can't see it being a long term habit. I will stick with the exercise and healthy eating.

I have lost 6lbs since Jan 1st and feeling great about it! Off to a great start! WOOHOO!!! Finally coming off this plateau!

Snow day today, so Y closed. Boo! I found a walking video on U-verse. Did two miles and then day 2 video. Feeling very proud b/c it would have been very easy to say forget it with 4 kids at home. Instead my 4 year old daughter did it with me!

The 10 min crunchless core looked appealing to me. It is a bit much on one of my knees and I'm not sure it is going to be great for my back. It was a nice challenge though but I'll probably try something else for the core or a good butt workout.

Thanks for the info! I'll have to sit down and make sure I'm in sync. I DO like the videos - I can get the cardio, no problem, but nost of the time, the toning exercises bore me silly, so I simply don't do them. But it's awfully hard to argue with 10 minutes.

I understand it to be Videos 1 to 7 for Week 1, repeat one per day of Videos 1 to 7 for Week 2, plus one extra bonus Video of our choice from the 40 available and do that once a week.

Because I was swamped last week, and had computer/internet problems this week, I had to double up but I have caught up now and will do Video 4 on Wednesday of Week 2.

Also we are supposed to do at least 30mins cardio 5 times a week

This is my week 2, day 2 of bootcamp and after checking out all the additional videos I thought it would be best to do one upper and one lower body work out in addition the bootcamp videos. Since I worked the lower body with day 2 I figured I would keep that theme going and continue with the 6 min. hips, glutes, thighs workout. Loved that it varied mostly from day 2! Tomorrow I am adding 10 min. crunchless core to my day 3 video and cardio. Then Friday I have one hour of yoga as well as the video! Plus I am doing 20 mins. of cardio 5 days this week as well.

I'm so glad I took this challenge on!! Can't wait to see where I am in 28 days! Woo Hoo!

For our 28-day challenge it is my understanding that we are to do a workout for 7 days. I think we just repeat the same video's each week. I also added one extra workout that we only do once a week. My question is before the challenge I had a set of exercises that I was doing do I continue with these are just do the exercises in the challenge? It looks like I am exceeding what I need to do daily sometimes. Does anyone have a suggestions about this? emoticon

I've had serious computer and internet problems since Sunday so I've done the Week 1 videos 1-3 today - back to back to catch up. Also had usual Aqua Aerobics class this morning. Monday I walked just over 3kms expecting to have a BodyWorx class for an hour - no instructor so worked in the garden for an hour instead

Will pick a couple of the bonus videos tomorrow after Aqua and BodyWorx classes.

I am on day 2 of week 2. I did my 30 minutes of cardio, today's toning video & the bonus video (I think it was the day 4 of New you-ab workout on the ball). My choice of cardio for yesterday left me so incredibly sore that I didn't want to do anything today. I started with the toning video with the intention of stopping.... but it felt good to move so I did the bonus video. Having 20 minutes in already, I decided to just strap a set on & get the cardio done. I feel so good about that. I've been tracking my food & being diligent about it. I started reading The Spark & am concerned that I am a false starter not a strong starter. Time will tell. But today I feel good & strong.

I'm so thankful for SparkPeople. Last year I did the bootcamp and lost about 10 lbs. In addition to helping me stay on track with exercise it was amazing to me, once I started tracking my food, how much little nibbles here and there can really add up to extra weight gaining calories. I know from experience that tracking food is a great tool to help with weight loss. This year I'm going to try my hardest not to slack off and think I know what I'm eating, I'm going to continue tracking my food!
