Hi all,
I did day 1 yesterday, did the video and did a 20 minute zumba dvd, then did a 2 mile jog on the treadmill. Did the day 2 video this morning, did the zumba again and then did a mile on the treadmill to complete the 30 minutes of cardio. emoticon

Taking it one day at a time!

Don't get discouraged, Nicole!! You can modify most workouts so that they're do-able. A sprained thumb is a temporary setback.... a lifestyle change is forever!! I know you can do it!! emoticon

Well I finished Day 1 and am about to do Day 2. But I have the coordination of a drunk goose! It's just me, and I know that, but when I try to do jumping jacks and similar exercises, I just cannot be in sync. It's frustrating!

I know that God will not give me anything that I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much. - Mother Teresa

Was on the road yesterday so today begins my 28-day bootcamp. Question is, should I do 2 workouts today to catch up or just go to Jan 29th to end my bootcamp?

I was all excited but as the day wears on I fill the old feelings of failure starting to sink in. I am hoping that by doing this challenge I will get back into exercising everyday and eating right due to logging my food.

Day 1 - felt good after the workout - had been feeling a bit down but now feeling much more zapped. So much so took the dogs out for a swift walk. Day 2 - hope to have the same feel good factor.

Good Morning,
I have't been on Sparks people in a while, came on and saw this challenge. So...I decided to sign up. My husband and I are going south at the end of Feb. I need to lose some weight. Can't wait to get back into a routine.
Take care

I did the Day 1 Cardio video this morning. I can tell I haven't moved in a while! Looking forward to some strength training, and getting back into the cardio for at least 30 minutes daily.

Day 1 over and onto day 2. I can already tell I will struggle through this but I will get through this. Day 1 workout was tough because I am not quite use to working out, to be honest I dread it and hate it. Hopefully by the end of this challenge my opinion and motivation for working out will change.

Good morning. Jaclyn Here. Working on Day 2/28, and I already went for a walk. When the little one gets up, I'm planning to put him in the stroller and take him out for another one (and the pup too). Off to do the vid of the day!

Love and blessings to all! We can do it! emoticon

I walked on treadmill for 1 1/2 miles, then came home and walked the dog for another 30 minutes. When I was looking at the spark site late last night, I saw this challenge and joined. I viewed the 1st day video but decided to wait until today to actually begin.
My plan is to watch the video, then walk on treadmill. I know I can do this and am determined to meet this challenge!

Started exercising again on Thursday. Just saw this challenge after I did Video 1 of Boot Camp. I know I can do it this time. I have a trip plan for May so I need to get this excess weight off. :)

Good morning all sparkteam members. Day 2 of 28 days for me...I did the 10 minute which turned into 15 because of streaming issues. I will be glad when I can do a full jumping jack. The half ones worked though. It was a good feeling when I finished the first workout.

Got up yesterday morning and immediately did yoga (yay!) and then checked email and saw this challenge. Joined immediately and planned to do a video later in the day. I was too excited to get out and try my new xc skis. So off I went...and DOWN I went. Hard. On my hand. Sprained my left thumb pretty badly. Now I'm in a splint. NEVER fails when I want to start something new - I always have some kind of obstacle! I don't care if I have to do one-arm bicep curls and squats ... I'll still do some kind of workout! But it's amazing how much you use your thumb (and wrist)....I miss them already!

I did day 1 & 2 together. We did New Year's Eve volleyball until 1:30 am, then came home and couldn't sleep until 3 am. We then didn't get up until late and then I took a nap! So now I am up again at 1:30 am!

I did this last year and loved it!

1/2 Day two added more sore muscles. But I'm still here.

1/4 Couldn't reach SP yesterday but am still up to date on exercise. Muscles seem to be accustumed to it now.

Hi,
I just joined the 28 day bootcamp challenge today and was taking notice of the action steps needed for this week. I made sure to go to the end of this team's page and add the team goals to mine for better accountablity and tracking.

I wasn't sure if anyone was going to add a topic for us to log into and roll call out what we accomplished for today's fitness goals. So I am starting one right now.

Today 1/1/11: I got some major cardio in and fully embraced the term "bootcamp" since I live in Jacksonville, NC which is home to the biggest Marine Corps base on the east coast. I did 3 different cardio walks today starting with 1.23 miles in 19 minutes walking my dogs in the morning. I followed that with my own cardio walk of 4.56 miles in 67 minutes emoticon emoticon
(this was a major accomplishment since I've been sick at the beginning of Dec. for 3 weeks and the cold temps kept me indoors to along w/ doctor's orders.)
Then since it was such a beautiful day 1 to the year I ended it with another walk of the dogs for 1.13 miles in 17 minutes watching the sunset.
I thought that would be enough cardio and was under the impression the videos would circulate around strength but today's day 1 bootcamp video is cardio!
I just accomplished day 1 Bootcamp video and Coach Nicole really got my heart rate up with those darn jumping jacks and climber squats and lunges (YIKES).

I feel like I've made a emoticon start to this challenge. How about you?
