My reason for joining official 28 day bootcamp workout challenge is to shake up my workout routine in hopes of speeding up my weight loss.

Fitness is a part of my daily routine but I need variety to keep me going and I think this just what the "Doctor Ordered".

Consistency! I like it (I need it, too.) and I'm hoping this challenge will help me get some more of it.

Of course, I also like the idea of being stronger, having more stamina and having a more readily attainable goal. "Finish the 28-Day challenge" will be sooner rewarded than reaching my goal weight and will keep me from losing motivation along the way to my larger goal.

Inspite of being overweight for many years, I never let anyone or their taunts bother me. My DH has always loved & supported me no matter what! But a recent photo of mine scared me. So, I'm doing this challenge to get into shape for a better me and to surprise my DH when he's back (He's in the Merchant Navy). Cheers to a new beginning!

I did day two this morning... and I discovered somethings.
...I'm a clutz and not very flexible anymore! LOL. emoticon

I am joining this challenge because I like trying new exercises and I know that I will work harder if I am trying to achieve a specific goal. I also think you are less likely to "fall off the wagon" if you do some exercise every day. I have been on SP for 5 weeks and am averaging -2 lbs./week, so I would love to keep up that weightloss pace.

Hi Dolly,
I'm from Mexico,currently living in Panama, I joined the spark in 2008 but followed for about 1 month, i did lose like 3-4 pounds but i stopped doing it because my DH would laugh at me trying to exercise even got angry sometimes, he'd rather see me watching Tv or making lasagna, lol...it is hard, he's now 230 pounds and everybody tells him he needs to lose weight but he just doesn't like exercise! anyway...my weight right now is 150 something i think is 156 or 154 not sure, I would like to be 130.
I would love to have a fitness buddy to reach goals together and support each other.

I can do it!

It is time for me to step up my fitness. I have been active on SP since April and have lost 20 lbs so far by watching food and exercising some. Now I need to start getting into the fitness and toning. Woohoo day 1 here I come!

I know the feeling. I have support from my boys who think I am beautiful the way I am, but my husband just says I am going to be alright what ever that means. I know I don't eat healthy all the time but I am tring my best to do so now. And I am counting my calories which I never thought I would be doing, and its helping me alot.
Where are you from?

I am on day 3 of the challenge and so far I feel great. I am also learning to eat breakfast before my workout and I feel with so much energy, during and after my workouts. I love the 10 mins workout videos, its easy and doesn't take much time, but you can feel the muscles get a workout.
Now all I need is a buddy to really get me going.

This is the first time i join a challenge, my goal is to get active and make exercise a habit, i have been trying to eat correctly but i feel that it is doing nothing because i don't exercise often.
Not having much support at home i'm looking to get it here and keep motivated. emoticon

I joined this to firm up the century ole muscles. Ive been fortunate in life to have a great metabolism for most of it. Im pretty active as I have a hard time sitting still (unless Im sitting in front of the PC)Im seeing changes in my aging body that I dont care for. So Here I am.

In four weeks after completing this I hope to have improved my endurance, strengthen my core muscles for great posture and bring some tone into my muscles especially the lower ones!

Thanks Sparkpeople for providing the resources for us to do this!

I am starting this challenge because I want to help get my weight lose to work more efficiently. Hypothyroidism has made this very difficult and want to add more to my workout, but also add variety and change up things so that I can be more affective. My real goal is to be able to get off my medications and live a long healthy life.

I have joined this challenge because I need help! When I first started Sparkpeople over a year ago I was doing great. I lost half of what I wanted to lose quickly. I have now been stuck for several months. In fact, the last few weeks I have gained 4 pounds. That really scared me. So here I am, starting over and ready to lose the rest of the weight!

i will actually start tomarrow, and I am hoping to get more into the exercise routine. I have been doing a lot of walking but know that I need to change it up a little so i don't stall out on loosing weight.

I am joining the 28 Day Bootcamp Workout Challenge tonight but will actually start tomorrow at 630 am! I have been working out pretty steadily for the past 3 1/2 weeks and have lost around 6 pounds so far. I started at 237, my highest weight ever and am hoping to get done to about 140. My goal for this challenge is to lose between 5-10 pounds. I also am going to try to cut out pop completely!

I'd like to be able to lose 5 pounds by the end of the 28 days. I also want to get back into my exercise routine. I had knee surgery a couple of weeks ago and a slight setback today but there is no reason I can't do toning exercises until I can start running again. I keep saying "baby steps" but feel like that's not enough. This mental game I play is killing me!

* Establish an exercise routine

* Kick-start my weight loss. I have been exercising but not consistently and 10 minutes a day. Now that I am going on summer break, I'd like to get in some more workouts and see some more progress.

Hi,

I am strating over, although I exercise daily, I didnt track my food or do 10 min videos, and I want to take a before picture, soooo... here goes again another try! My goals are to incorporate the 10 min video's and to lose a minimum of 4lbs a month.
