I've got a half-marathon the second weekend of February. I want to get myself in shape and ready to conquer that challenge!

I also have 6 lbs left to shed to achieve my goal weight, so hopefully this will take care of that too!

I'd also like to change my exercise habits from late afternoon sessions to first-thing-in-the-morning sessions. Eventually, I'd like to have this include getting myself out of bed at an earlier time (I often sleep until 10:30) in order to work out.

Hey, I'm excited to get going on this challenge, I was looking for things shake up my routine. I run 3 days a week and x-train one day. I usually only get around to one ST session a week, 2 if I'm lucky. My goal with this challenge is to build strength and make daily exercise a habit.

Need to get back on track and jump start the new year. This should be a good way for me to stay on program since I travel and getting to they gym is sometimes impossible with my schedule.

I am SO excited to begin Bootcamp. My goals for the next 28 days are to get into a regular workout/exercise routine, drink my 100oz. of water daily and lose 10 pounds. I know I can do it! Good luck everybody! Happy 1/1/11!!!

Hi and Happy New Year! I joined the Spark group a year of so ago and did very well for awhile....until life's difficulties brought me down again. I am back now and am really praying to God that I can stick with it this time as I am not getting any younger and certainly haven't been getting any thinner! I hope to change that last part. My goal is to not only loose 40 pounds by June 1st, but also to encourage my teen age children to become healthier and more active as well!

My goals for this challenge is to get back on track with exercise and to manage afternoon hunger.

I went from stay-at-home mom to full time teacher in September, and have struggled with finding time to exercise and with feeling like I am starving from the time my students go home until dinner time. I have gained back about 7 pounds, so I have some work to do!

I also am doing this with my husband, so hoping to help him get started with his program as well!

I know this may sound funny but besides getting healthy I joined this team because I hate to sweat. I don't exercise because of that and I hope that by being a member of this team it will be able to encourage me to get up and workout even if sweating is involved. My friend had gastric bypass this last summer and I do not want to have to ever live like that. I just don't have what it will take to maintain that, but heart disease runs in my family and I don't want to end up with cardiac bypasss. So today will be my day to set my goals and tomorrow will be the first day of the rest of my physically fit life. I would love to have lost 5-10 lbs. by my 50th birthday on Valentines day. That would be a reason to celebrate.

Although I have lost some weight; I do not feel healthier. I would like to develop a healthier lifestyle and be more active. Goal: I want to become more active, lose some weight. I am not over weight, I have been told but I need to become more active. I want to be around 180lbs. I am here to work on getting fit and staying fit. Plus, I have been changing the way I eat. I love sweets. It is truly my greatest weakness. But I know if I stay motivated and determined I can change the way I eat and how much I consume on a daily basis. I have lost around 15 to 20 pds since last year and it's taking me longer than I thought to lose this weight. But I'm down for this challenge!!

My overall goal is to get healthy and fit, by putting ME first in my life. As a stay at home mom, with four kids, I have lost focus on myself and never find the time to do the right things for me. I overeat, don't workout and never (ever) get enough sleep. My 2011 goal is to remember that without taking care of me first, I cannot take care of anyone else the way that I should or want to.

My Bootcamp goal is to lose 10 lbs. by a combination of working out and eating healthier. I am cutting calories, but mostly just cutting out the "junk" and processed foods that I have been living on. My addiction to Coke (the cola :) and burgers and fries is going to be broken. I plan to eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies, drink my 8 glasses of water, and eat lean protiens. Looking forward to seeing what the 28 days brings :)

Goal: I joined this challenge to help me stay motivated in shedding excess fat obtained during pregnancy and tone up. My goal is to focus in on getting in to shape so I can safely and enjoyably participate in the activities I have planned for the year. These activities include learning to backcountry ski, continue snowshoeing, learn to rock climb, learn winter camping and snow travel, hike the Wicklow Way in Ireland, climb some 14ers, and do some backpacking.
