My goal for this challenge is to get back on track and try to get off another 10 pounds! I'm currently down 50 pounds since last July, lost some steam in December and so i am recommitting myself today!

It's inspiring to read all your goals. I want to get more active and aim to eat a raw diet for 1-2 meals per day, ultimately losing 5-10 pounds in the next month or two. Good luck to everyone.

My long term goal is to lose 104 pounds by the time I finish graduate school (in about 2 more years). My realistic short term goal is to exercise every day for these 28 days and use this to build a habit of exercise that I can keep up after the challenge is over.

My goals are to get back into regular exercise and healthy eating habits,I've been slack since Thanksgiving. Other goals are to improve my meal planning and to cook more healthy meals on the weekends that we can freeze for later.

I have come so far this past year with healthy eating habits, exercise, weight loss, changing clothes sizes, portion control, self-discipline, self-control, learning to say "NO" and sticking to it, pride in my changes, and my favorite is that I actually enjoy exercise now, I feel great afterward, and I can really see the results of my hard work. I have always focused solely on weight loss and getting to a number, but never gave much thought to my body definition. I can't believe my figure is back. Changing clothes sizes and seeing and feeling the changes in my body have been a great bonus that I never expected. I don't want to lose the momentum either. Exercise really is key! I still have a ways to go, and I need to focus on toning, but I'm confident I will reach all of my goals and more!

Dear Lord, set my sights on You and Your great attributes. Help me to live in Your presence, dependent on Your guidance each day. In Jesus name, Amen.

2. Complete 250 fitness minutes each week.
3. Complete the other Bootcamp Action Items as listed in the weekly checklist.

Good luck to all of you as you work towards your 2011 goals!

I really need to kick myself into action again. I want to start exercising regularly again because I love the way it makes me feel to be healthy. I have so much energy throughout the day after starting the day with a workout. I feel like I've just been all around lazy since I've slacked. It's time to get back in gear again.

My goal is to start losing some weight again. I have been stuck in the 180's for quite a while now and I am hoping that the boot camp will be just what I need to get the scale to go down.

I have been struggling with my weight since puberty. I gain 20 pounds and lose 20-40 pounds. Then...I gain it back. I have been struggling for the last year to get motivated to get back on track and back to the gym. I felt great when I was running 3 days/week. I want to shed the excess pounds I have gained (perhaps a bit more once that goal is reached) and feel better with more energy. I cannot seem to find the motivation or the time. I look forward to this challenge as being the motivator that I need.

I will be running in the Walt Disney World Marathon is 1 week which was my goal for last year, along with completing a 1/2 marathon this past November. I lost a total of 36 lbs last year, however, since beginning the long distance training for the marathons I have found 1/2 the weight back. I am ready to get back into my regular routine with regular, balanced workouts for the entire body and more intensity but for shorter periods of time. Want to get back to where I was in June and July when I felt my best physically, mentally and emotionally.

The only easy day was yesterday.

There will be days when I don't know if I can run a marathon. There will be a lifetime of knowing that I have.

My Goals are
1) Consistently do cardio for 30 mins 5 times a week.
2) Do strength training 3 times a week. Full body, Upper and Lower
3) Track what I eat so I am accountable

I am focusing less on weight loss and more on making healthy life style changes because it is too easy to give up when I do not see the results I am expecting.

I'm with you KADDY_D! I'm continuously starting these kinds of things and losing my momentum halfway through. I'ma make it work this time. :-P

I'm here because I have 100lbs to get rid of for good. I've been trying off and on to lose weight all my life and I'm ready to say goodbye forever to this flab!
So my goals for Week 1 are:
-Track EVERYTHING I eat, while trying to make healthy choices and stay within an 1800 calorie limit.
-Workout for at least 30 minutes everyday this week, including the Bootcamp workouts and cardio.
-Stay positive!!

Happiness is a choice that requires effort at times.
