My goals for this boot camp are to get back into losing weight. In the last 2 years I have lost 40 pounds but regained most of it. I want to restart my weight loss and keep it off this time. My goals are to stay encouraged and not give up halfway through because I don't feel like the weight is coming off. I would love to lose 5 pounds during this boot camp.

I joined the challenge to find and implement an exercise program, including cardio, that will give me a good workout without using the soles of my feet.

I also want to get back on a 2-pounds per week weight loss routine in order to get rid of the ten pounds I've gained since it became necessary to stop the hour-per-day treadmill regimen I had been on and then move on towards reaching my goal weight.

My goal is to start a regular exercise routine and stick to it! (even if it's 10 min. a day!)

Drink water daily and lots of it... currently, I drink maybe 8oz a day... some days more, and some days less!

Make healthier choices of what I put into my mouth and write it all down.

My goal for the following 28 days is to lose around 8 pounds (2 pounds per week), get a little toned and keep chipping away at my long-term goal, which I'm hoping to reach by the end of May 2011! I'd also like to earn that trophy! Woo hoo!

I have been halfheartedly trying to lose weight for a while now, so it's time to jump in with two feet. I'm hoping that this 28-day challenge will result in weight loss and loads of motivation to continue on through to my goal of losing 45 pounds.

My goal during this 28-day Bootcamp Challenge is to feel better by using the videos provided and exercising more, track all my food, and get into an old pair of jeans in my closet (5 lbs more should do it), and use positive thinking because I am worth it!

I turned 50 on the 16th of December. I need to jump start myself into loosing weight. New year seems like a good time to step up my efforts. My goals are to walk the Dog at least once a day. Weight train at least three times a week. I'd also like to do my yoga videos.

I have been living in Italy for almost two years, and have done almost no traveling because I hate how I look. I haven't taken a picture in years. My goals for this year are to finally get free of the weight that is stealing my life from me. I want to lose 60 pounds by summer time and take my family to Paris.

HI ALL: My name is Jo and I am hoping that this "bootcamp" give me the structure I need to make some progress in losing weight and becoming more fit.

GOALS: To be consistent in cardio, strength training AND stretching.
To eat "clean" (no white flour, pasta, sugar, as few preservatives as possible and as much organic as possible.)
To learn proper portion control.
To overcome emotional ties to eating. REALLY!

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. Prov. 3:5-6

hi there--my DH and i are just starting with sparkpeople and this seemed like a good way to dive in. i do walking workouts every day and wanted to add a quick muscle building routine to it to cement the habit. this seems like a good way to go about it.

focus on the parts you get right.

I'm sure a lot of others will agree with these!
- work less hours
- eat less food
- move more
- make myself a priority
- start now, keep doing it, if you have a bad day, start again no matter what!
