After hanging around in the 150s for a while because my first 25lbs of weight loss were such a shock to me, I subscribed to this challenge because I'm finally ready to lose those last 25 lbs just in time for college graduation!

Goal 1: reach 128 by end of June
Goal 2: work out daily, even if it just means going for a walk
Goal 3: eat more often rather than feast/famine

My thing is - I need to get up and DO something! I am managing to change my eating habits--my wife is a big help with that--without out much of a struggle; but this exercise thing is more challenging. I need to start doing something, walking, push-ups and sit-ups, stretching--just to get off the couch and out of my desk chair.

I used to be pretty active, but now in my 40's I have developed a very sedentary lifestyle, especially in these cold Pittsburgh winter's! I'm in need of consistency and I think the goals I've set will give me that without making me feel like I have to do hours a day in a gym.

10min. of cardio 5x per week
10min. of exercise everday
Track my calories everday to be more mindful of what I put in my mouth.

Ok.. in case I didn't do this already... (or did and forgot)
I'm Sarah. from Michigan and craving spring right now...
i think this 28 day challenge will get me jump started... must. find. motivation.... emoticon

My challenge goals are just that... to actually follow this challenge from beginning to end without missing or skipping days. Not always easy for me since my day isn't always routine and weekends are crazy (but usually fun)

While I don't list my goals exactly... I feel they're pretty clear and I've tried to keep them simple: Follow the challenge.

Well, i had a bit of a hiccup. 2 Birthday parties and a weekend road trip set me back. So I am starting the challenge over from scratch. My goals are still the same: Fit into single digit sized clothing again, and feel terrific about myself. Best of luck to all of you taking the challenge. We CAN do this!

Just finished week one. Feeling great. Never knew I had core muscles (I know I have them because they are burning).

I combine these exercises with at least 60 minutes of walking a day.

Good luck to everybody.

I'm really hoping that SP will make me more motivated to keep on track! I eat healthy but I'm having issues with portion control!

My goal for this challenge is to be consistent with my exercise routine! This week I am determined to move every single day and track my calories faithfully :)

My main goal is to loose the 10 pounds I gained over the last year and a half. To reach this goal I will exercise daily and track all my food intake on SparkPeople.

Day 1 of the challenge for me ... I'm here for a lot of different reasons, but my main reason for joining sp this time is so that I can stop being disgusted when I look in the mirror. My goals for this challenge are to build the strength training/toning part of my healthy habits. I'm currently training for a 5K, so I've pretty much got the cardio down, but the strength training is really a challenge for me. A big part of that is the fact that I don't really know what exercises to do to accomplish what I'm trying to be. I'm hoping that this challenge will at least teach me a few exercises that I'll be able to continue with and expand on to tone my body and build my strength up. And if I can lose 5 lbs or so while I'm at it ... all the better!

1) Commit to exercising every day. No excuses.
2) Combine with returning to running.
3) Lose 4 kilos and several inches before a school trip in April.

I just joined sparkpeople on 2/23/11 and I am excited about this challenge. My goal is to win the biggest loser contest at my school which ends on March 30, so this is a perfect challenge to help me win that goal! I plan to do the 10 minute videos every day and 30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week. This will also help me with my 5 pounds in March challenge that I joined.

Hi everyone! This will be the 3rd time that I've begun this challenge. The first time, I got hurt and couldn't really complete it. The second time, I was helping my DD's acting group put on a play and our technical rehearsals, etc. fell right in the middle of when I started the challenge. (Not good timing on my part).

ANYWAY - I really want to start/finish this challenge. So - DD's show is over (although she is rehearsing 2 more right now - but the craziness should not be starting - just yet, anyway). It's a Sunday - the beginning of a new week - what better day to start a new challenge? I'm so close to the original goal that I set for myself when I joined SP (a long time ago!). I want to get to that goal - and perhaps go a little further ... but I'll be happy to reach the goal, for now.

That's my introduction/story. I wish you all success in this journey!!! emoticon

Hello to all! I joined Spark 2010 when I turned 50.I've lost about 45lbs. I need to loose at least another 50-65 lbs. I have a wedding to go to by Sept.and its real important. We used to live in the same town but after our car accident and my rehab.we moved to W. Texas. Well we are also now hopefully sooner rather than later move back to NE. I wanna do this to feel even more better-physically and mentally. I wanna do right by me. So far this year has been just awful from an X-wife causing problems to my beloved Boxer Checker being attacked by a Rottweiler. And me having to defend my property. Oh and during our cold snap here in W. Texas our heat went out. Arrrrrg! But I'm getting back on track now. I've got to focus on me and not loose site again. Thank you all.

I joined the 28 -Day Bootcamp because I am really looking for a challenge. I have already reached my goal weight of 143, I went from 172. I started in July 2010, reached my goal on January 24, 2011. I plan to maintain this goal with healthy eating and consistent workouts. I am pretty consistent in working out anyway. I just want to mix it up a little. I'm trying to make sure I'm beach ready in April for our third trip to Aruba. I can't wait, I am so excited.
