I'm doing this to give myself a kick in the rear. I lost 100 pounds, but with some life changes in the last few years, I've gained back almost 30 pounds.

I hope this will break me of some bad habits and create some good ones!

1) Use the SP videos at least once a day.
2) Lose 10 pounds by April 1
3)Do 30 minutes of cardio at least 4 days a week.

Wow, I'm so impressed by everyone's goals! Good job, if you've made it; and good luck, if you're on your way!

To be brutally honest with myself, I'm here because I don't want to be the "fat twin". People tend to label twins a lot more - it's just because they want to make us more identifiable, right? So I don't mind much. Well... a little.

But my point is that I object to being the "fat twin", and if I'm going to fix that, there are two things I need to do:
1. Lose weight (but not enough to turn me into the "skinny twin" - that doesn't solve anything!)
2. Find something else about myself that identifies me. Dye my hair, get a dog, grow a garden, or a million other choices.

Wish me luck! :)

Howdy, all! I'm starting this because we're holding a "biggest loser" competition at my work. I'm mostly in this to tone up... and lose that fifteen pounds that magically appeared after the holidays (all of those cookies, cakes, ice cream, wine had absolutely nothing to do with it I'm sure!) that I just can't seem to shake.

I'm 35 and I have over 100 pounds to lose in order to be at a healthy weight. I want to give my kids the kind of mom they deserve, I want to be able to do normal activities without running out of breath (heavy breathing after tying my shoe is just not right!), and I want to be able to look in a mirror without hating what I see.

Hi, I am seeing that I am an older person here (in my 50's) but I am determined to be as fit as I can at my age and lose about 15 pounds. I have done it before when I was younger but now I have to start over. I am also working out with my son's insanity videos although I have to modify it for my knee and back problems. I used to be a marathon runner in my 20's and although I probably won't do that again, I am going to see if maybe I can do a sprint triathlon this year.

I feel for you about exercising in front of anyone. My daughter homeschools and I have no choice but to work out in front of her, but I just decided that if she wants to giggle at me then so be it. I can get even when she gets into a situation and laugh at her--sound mean? Oh well, maybe she'll get the point. Did you discuss with your family how important this is to you? I finally did and told them they should be supporting me not making fun. Can't control what they do, so just ignore it. Be strong and keep going..you will get past the uncomfortable feelings.

Hi Redolene, under My tracker, top left, go to start, top item, and then click on e-mail preference, and then just mark what you want and click on save. I hope that is the way, at least it is close.
My challenge goals are to continue with a healthy lifestyle, even if I mess up, I need to know all that I have to do is start over.

I am going to restart this challenge and see if I can stay on track this time. I like the video workouts on here, but I am embarrassed to workout when my husband or stepson are home. I'm trying to get better at getting to bed early and getting up earlier so I can get an earlier jump on my day and on exercising.

I am here to lose anywhere from 15 - 25 lbs, but mostly to tone up!

The trip is booked and the swimsuit has been purchased! Need I say more? I'd also like the added benefit of making exercise a habit and hopefully gaining back some flexibility, energy and balance that is disappearing over time. Weight loss would be a wonderful added bonus!

Hi everyone! I am joining this challenge to get back into eating healthy, ST, and losing another 10 lbs. I have been doing good with Cardio but my ST is lacking and my eating habits are not the best. I am getting frustrated with my weight and finding it hard to stay motivated. A friend suggested trying a challenge to try and help keep me motiviated.

Good luck everyone

Hi

I have joined the boot camp work out but plan to start it this coming Sunday, the reason being i have the flu right now, but i will do what i can in the mean time.

My goals for this challenge is to get on track with eating right and exercising, pushing myself a little to get me going. As for weight loss goals I would like to see a little less of me and i have this new top that i would like to see fit much better than it does.

Weight wise I would like to see atleast 5 pounds down by the end of the challenge.

Hiya everyone!
I'll be "officially" starting the challenge next week, but I'm skulking around here in the meantime. :)

My goals are to drink more water, lose 30 lbs, and just generally get back into shape...I'm three months post-pregnancy and I can barely walk up my own stairs without huffing and puffing. lol

um yeah goals this is new to me. 1.) drink glasses of water: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. I am currently working on 7 glasses. Yes, this is a very hard goal for me. I used to drink 2 liters of 7up or kool aide a day. 2.) exercise minutes at home: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50. Very hard for me cause even the ten minutes required is hard and that is only strength training not cardio. 3.) Learn to eat enough food each day according to how much exercise I am doing that day. The more exercise I do the more I will eat or the hungrier I will be.

"I enjoy feeling hungry--- that means progress to me!!!"

A new way to reward myself. Half-way to my first weight loss goal.
