I joined this because I need to get myself back into a routine of working out every day and tracking my food.

My goals for this challenge are:

1. Do do the workout videos every day.
2. 30 minutes of cardio every day
3. Lose 8 pounds by June 30.

My goal is to get into a regular routine... I am doing great at getting those upper body ST in, but would like to get more of a workout for the abs and legs. I am on my treadmill every day for 40 minutes, and this will help with the calorie burn and toning. Have alot of clothes in my closet that I would just love to wear again... If I do this, then I get to go shopping in my own bedroom!

I have read through quite a few of your goals, and I have to say that with goals like those, you WILL succeed!

I joined this challenge because I believe in it. I need to have a consistent exercise program to break though my current plateau. I saw this challenge as the tool I needed.

My goals this month are:
Lose 4 pounds (one a week)
Lose 2% body fat
Eat healthy

I look forward to this journey with you all.

I joined this challenge to get jumped started back after my hiatus from Sparkpeople. I want to do something different then what I have been doing everyday in my normal workouts. I have been training for a half marathon, and running three times a week just isn't enough.

1. Complete the challenge
2. Track eating throughout the challenge (hard for me!)
3. Add strength training/toning
4. Continue to train for half marathon

I joined the challenge because: as an aerobic exerciser I needed to work other areas. Smaller increments are manageable for me.
2. I tried the earlier bootcamp, and was unable to complete because of chronic illness. Since then, I have been using the exercises as part of my Spark Program. Completing Bootcamp is important to me for many reasons. Primarily: I took on something new and followed through! emoticon

I agree with Donaldson39, my goal is one week at a time. Outside of just completing this, I'd love to fit into my favorite shirt and a pair of shorts again. I'm close and this might just get me there!

Have a remarkable day!

My biggest goal is going to be giving up coca-cola. I have tried in the past but, because of the headaches i go back. I have currently started doing Zumba, and cardio kickboxing. I also have a hard time with my body image. But, I am thinking positively, and hopefully i will be successful.

I recently decided to change my lifestyle due to be only 19 years old and having stage 2 hypertension blood pressure. I have recently picked up Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred and got bored with it, I need motivation to get back into doing the Shred again. I think doing this will motivate me! Atleast I hope so!
My goals consist of
* Drinking atleast 8 glasses of water (ALREADY DOING)
*Starting a program that is going to get me from walking to running
* I want to get to the point I am losing atleast 2lbs a week for starting out!

I joined this challenge because there's a number of things going on on my life that have made me fall in a bit of a rut. I have no problems getting in my cardio, but when I'm training for a big event, I tend to not be balanced. I loved the New Year challenge, so I'm excited about this one.

So here are my goals:

1. Stay motivated during a difficult time
2. Lose some inches
3. Learn new exercises/techniques

I'm convinced that absolutely no one hates exercise more than I do. I joined the challenge to try to program myself to make exercise a habit rather than a dreaded chore. Being involved in this challenge will hold me a little more accountable.

I joined this challenge for the motivation and to get myself out of the exercise rut I am in. I do 2 hours of activity everyday, but almost always the same thing. I need to do something different. I've always enjoyed the challenges on one of my teams and am looking forward to this one.

My goals are to:
To try new and different activities, but participate each day and to finish this challenge.

I joined the challenge because when I first started with spark people there was a bootcamp going then and I didn't feel ready. Now I have been doing the WATP DVD's and feel much stronger. I really lack in my strength training and need a push so I hope to get a more rounded workout and hopefully find some new muscles.
My goals are.... to walk 5 miles a day for 4 days a week.
....................... to do my boot camp workouts everyday
....................... to stay within my calorie range
....................... to be at 137.0 by the end of the boot camp. Thats down 5 pounds from what I weighed last week.. I gained 4 over the weekend and I will not be counting those pounds as part of the 5 pounds to loose.. I feel most of that weight is from way too much salty foods.. so its not fat to loose but water weight..

I joined the bootcamp workout challenge to keep me motivated and to keep me at my current weight. I am maintaining and need to keep my exercise program varied so I do not get bored and gain any weight back.
I enjoy all the challenges that SP has to offer and find that they keep me focused on myself which we all need to do to stay healthy and happy.

Good Luck everyone who is joining the challenge.

I joined the challenge because I'm competitive and think a challenge will give me a sense of accomplishment even though I cannot possibly reach my ultimate goal in 28 days.

My goal is that I'd like to not feel creaky and achy when I exercise at the end of 28 days. Not during exercise but after. (I do stretches before and after so no muscle cramps - but I want that OH YEAH! exercise feeling instead of the OMG WHAT? exercise feeling.)

Jen
Started at 319.8 and I have two goals.
1.) Get under 300! ((DID IT!! 11/10/10))
2.) Get under 280!
2.) Running didn't work out so good for me. I want a bike. Badly.

I'm in week 1.

My challenge is to set a scheduled exercise time as I work from home and get into the habit of getting out of bed, sit down at the computer and stay there until it's time to sleep!

I also want to shift the extra weight I regained after stopping smoking, (Gained 28, 17 still to go) and get back to under 140 by my birthday in July.

I am joining this bootcamp challenge because it was the bootcamp challenge that got me started in the right direction when I started, and I know it is going to do the trick again, this time! I need accountability or it's easy for me to put things off "until next time"!!! No more! I am so glad for this challenge!

I don't want to bite off more than I can chew, but I would like very much to lose at least 5-10 pounds before the 28 days is over! If I don't, at least I will KNOW that I am successful in doing what I know I need to be doing to become more healthy! emoticon

I just want another motivator - another something to keep me accountable. I want to lose more weight before summer vacation.

I am fighting discouragement, in part because my weight is not changing to any significant degree and part because of life situations in general. I think this is a great team and I need to be challenged. We are going on vacation July 2 to see my son at Altus AFB. I want to be stronger and more confident when we leave.

The only limits in my life are the ones I place upon myself.

I am joining the challenge because I need to get moving and have a goal and focus in sight. I want to lose 20lbs and taking it 5lbs at a time. I want to fit back into my size 8 clothes and feel good about me. So I challenge myself to do 30 min cardio daily, my strength training, and to get as clean as I can and journal daily on spark.

Tell us why you joined the challenges and what goals you hope to accomplish during the next four weeks!
