I would like to start training for a 5k VERY soon. I started May 20th with a goal of 5 miles per week. I am now jogging and speed walking at least 20 miles a week. I am super excited! :)

...and when they lifted up their voice...and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endures for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

My long term exercise goals are to exercise at least 6 days per week.

Walking 2 miles at least 3 days a week, Pilates twice a week, and doing Zumba on rain out days, and days when I want to use more calories than walking or pilates will burn.

I still have 4 lbs to lose. I look forward to losing them.

Wow, so many great goals, and all are so doable.

For me, my goal is to workout for at least 1 hour every day this year. So far I'm 100%. I had a cold for a few days 2 months ago, so I improvised a home workout and made it through that so I'm more confident I can make it. But I take it 1 day at a time, 1 step at a time.

Today's workout was 45 minutes of cardio and 70+ minutes of lower body work.

Keep on posting everyone, you're all really inspiring to me. Have a great week-end...

Carpe Diem,
Dwayne

This challenge really encouraged me to go beyond the 10 minutes/day!

Long-Term Goals:

Minimum of 30 minutes of exercise/day
Minimum of 10,000 steps/day (or 5 miles)
Minimum of 10 flights of stairs/day

Yup - you guessed it; I got a Fitbit, which tracks steps & stairs! Really helps.
