URBANAUDREYE,

Glad to hear you've got some help with that snow shoveling. That could really be a chore.

Off to the gym in a few for some cardio and upper body workouts. Didn't do my full workout yesterday because of time constraints which caught up to me at the end of the day, so I'll be back on it full bore today.

Hope all of you are doing well and moving forward...

Carpe Diem,
Dwayne

There's 3 of us in the house that take turns with the snow, so I'm not too concerned about overdoing it. And my grandfather keeps the house plenty warm. So far it's taking a bigger toll on the car battery than on me.

We are fortunate here in Australia.
The only snowfall we get are in a handful of mountains.
Suburbia is usually spared.
Don't think I would cope at all well with heavy snow, I find Winter to be a depressing time.

It's not the snow that bothers me... it's the wind chill. Chill is supposed to go down to -20F tonight. Shoveling is a good workout, but frostbite is not fun.

To All of you facing all that snow, I think of you often. Just wish some of that was still in liquid form and hitting the West Coast.

PROPMAN, You are right, it's great exercise and from the sound of it you're getting a lot.

For me, today was 45 minutes of cardio and 55 minutes of upper body work.

Take care all,

Carpe Diem,
Dwayne

Did ok with shoveling and it is all done so i just walk and am increasing my stretches as I don't see the chiropractor for awhile to say I can exercise. Sparks has lots to pick from and I have several from my stints in PT so that and walking should keep me going.
Lots of ice under the snow so i avoid that area and wear cleats as the drive out front is ice under snow. I could live without warm weather that causes this ice.
Have a great day and those in the storm areas, be safe and warm. Hope outages aren't going to be bad.

CAPTAINMORGAN be very careful shoveling that snow. We got like a inch here. Glad that was all we got. What work for one exercising might not work for the other.

Good Morning All,

PRIYA, I can sympathize with your back pain. I have had it in the past, but as I lose weight and work out on a daily basis I rarely experience any. I do back stretches, use a back extension machine and try not to sit too long at one time. Hope it gets better for you.

Hope everyone else is doing well and moving forward. I'm off to the gym shortly, after a couple "Honey Do" tasks.

Carpe Diem,
Dwayne

DOXISR.....

Great goals; just keep at them and in no time your goals become habits, good ones at that.

Post often; that holds us accountable. Today's exercise for me was 45 minutes of cardio and 57 minutes of lower body work.
