Week 3 is now over! Tomorrow is my next weigh in, which I will post in week four. I have learned this week that even those small movements help, For four days in a row I did achieve 6,000 steps with the spark tracker.

This week I have also accomplished lost inches around my arms, hips, waist and thighs, even though weight was not lost. I lost an inch or more on everything.

Now onward to week four.

CLB,

You're doing a FANTASTIC job and you will get your steps in, I'm sure of it! After all, you have determination, and that's what it takes! Breaking the snacks is a hard task, as sometimes I still succumb and have bad trouble with them every once in a blue moon. However, I may have lost that skirmish, but I know I have WON THE WAR!!!

Baby Girl,

emoticon look at you go!!!!! You're doing a superb job! Keep up the GREAT work!

Blessings!

In week 3 I have learned that I CAN walk and jog 5+ miles a day. :)

...and when they lifted up their voice...and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endures for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

Thanks color-blue and lcddub. The encouraging words are helping. emoticon I wish I could go to the gym, but a good gym that isn't too expensive with a good daycare for kiddos is a hard combination to find.

I actually got to 6000 steps on Saturday thanks to walking the mall, nightly walk, and craft store. My goal for this week is to think about when I am eating. I do tend to eat snacks when I am bored, so I'm hoping I can break that habit in the next coming weeks. I am off to do a workout so I can get to 6000 steps again tonight.

Dwayne,

Since I've started going to the gym, I understand the consequences of not getting there, and it can be a bummer! The good thing, you're on it and you're making it happen, in spite of what has happened! You ROCK!!!

Blessings!

Glad to hear you're doing so well CLB. Just keep doing what you're doing. Like you figured out, you may not show a loss on the scale but the tape doesn't lie. Losing inches is just as good, if not better, than losing the pounds. Your choice!

Yesterday was not a banner day for me. Missed my gym workout for the 1st time this year! So today I start another streak. The scale this morning reminded me what happens when I don't do the right things. Eat too much, don't workout...Enough said.

Off to the gym to start the streak over...Day 1

Carpe Diem,
Dwayne

Well my weight went up less then a pound but my inches went down so I'm guessing I"m building denser muscles. I count that as a win. emoticon I haven't been able to get up to 6,000 steps yet. Kind of my weekend goal.

The weekend is here again so I do get to walk around more, but also have more temptations.

CLB, You're doing great! 6,000 steps is where I started when I first got my Activity tracker; now I'm up to 10,000 steps per day as my goal. Let us know how your weigh-in goes; as
Nancy Jean said, we want to know.

Are you doing any other sort of exercises? Just curious...as usual.

Off to the gym now for some cardio and upper body work...

til next time,

Carpe Diem,
Dwayne

CLB,

I'm so EXCITED for you! You're still doing the 2 mile with Leslie, and you said that you're aiming for 6,000 steps a day, along with looing into some sparkpeople videos. I LOVE IT!!!!

Please let us know about your weigh-in! Inquisitive minds want to know!

Blessings!

My goals this week is to get to 6,000 steps on the spark tracker per day. The closest I have gotten is 5000 steps. This basically means getting off my butt more then I already do. Those little steps really do add up!

I am also going to be trying some new workouts via spark people's videos, and maybe I can pick up a new active activity. I'm still doing mile 2 in walk away pounds. This coming Friday is my next weigh in so we shall see how that goes too.
