10 minutes can often lead to 20 and so on as time passes. I usually walk my lab right away in the morning and get steps started. We have a puppy so I use lots of steps all day, thanks goodness for nap time!!I will walk her this morning if it doesn't rain. Our weather turned so cold, windy and some rain so lots of days we couldn't walk. Hoping for a nice sunny fall yet??
Kee emoticon p on with your 10 min. and increase if you are ready.

I agree completely. I know 10 minutes is nothing, but sometimes my endurance is just not there and I have to break it into 2 sessions, but I feel good when I have accomplished this and know it will get better as I get stronger. It is hard to be patient, but it is hard to be in poor shape too. So this is where I belong. Thanks for the topic. Have a good week end. emoticon

I am retired and at home, with no car. So I tend to get no exercise or to get out and walk to the store or go shopping or to visit my daughter, and suddenly get a huge amount of exercise. Then I am exhausted and cannot exercise at all for a while. I also have sleep issues that weaken me so I cannot do my 10 minutes a day. I am working on pacing my exercise to something daily. It takes time to turn life habits around, but I am getting there. And I feel so much better as I improve. AS I slowly get more and more in shape, losing some weight and getting more toned, I can pace better and better. Sometimes not exercising too much is just as important as exercising enough. But it is working and life has improved all around so much in the last 7 weeks of my fitness program! I look better, feel better...it's getting a life back!

We cannot solve problems using the same ideas we used to create them. Albert Einstien
