Yes, emoticon I'm having a tough time also, as I'm rebuilding my stamina. Too much on hold time, while following doctors orders. I have another month to go before I'm to be re-evaluated, as to whether I can start working out again. I have been testing the waters a bit, as I'm going stir crazy. It's a real challenge, but by His Grace, we both have this thing beat down and licked!!!

emoticon Carolyn!! I am still hoping to get the second knee done as it is hampering me more all the time. My main exercise is to walk with my chocolate lab Brandy but it is getting more difficult in spite of pain pills and Salonpas patches. Now I have some hip issues and doing those exercises twice a day as well as the knee exercises. Also need to do arms etc. . I have saved a few Spark exercises to do as well and the seated ones are favorites of mine as hard on the knees. I have my problems with self discipline to get it done too so brought my exercise mat in here as well as a book to enter the 2 times a day I get to the back exercises and I am doing better. Doing it 10 minutes at a time to start works, maybe add another 10 later in the day etc.
No walking for Brandy and I today as we are socked in with a cold cloudy rainy day so I have enjoyed reading etc. A day iff is nice once in awhile too.

I do understand your plight, as I was in a bad car accident and spent 6 months in the hospital and by the time all was said and done, with be being able to drive again and take care of myself, out of the wheelchair and no assistance, took 2 years. At that time this team didn't exist. I chose an eight or nine minute chair exercise by Nicole, when I started, and it took me a month to get through the entire video, without stopping. This is a very doable exercise, of your choosing and there are many cheerleaders emoticon of which I am one, who will scream and shout emoticon to get you to each and every one of your mini goals and ultimately your GOAL!!!!! At this point, I'm not able to exercise, because of recently being discharged from the hospital, but if you keep posting, I'll keep encouraging you!

In 2012 I had a catastrophic knee injury, along with a broken wrist. It put me in the hospital and rehab for two months, wheel chair, walker, then cane, etc. Eventually I had a knee replacement but never got a good bend in my knee because of the swelling.

I got back to walking but my left leg swells every day and I sit a lot! I walked while I was actively working but I retired and mostly don't do any exercise. I must start walking again though so I'm ready. I started this team yesterday so this is week 1.

I'll be mostly walking to do my 10 minute a day Exercising for this challenge. Some days I might be doing Chair exercises. I have dvds for both.
