Almost over the cold or whatever. Still coughing some but almost done with it. Now 32 actual class days of school left. So tired! Been a long year but so very rewarding. Not back to everyday. IEP meetings are done for the year though, I think. YAY! So I should be able to get more active again.

I'm a poor runner. I've never been a good runner. But I keep pushing and I enjoy it now. I hated when I sprained my ankle and foot tendons in September and haven't been able to run until just the last few weeks. I missed running.

Way to go OKGOATGAL. That is an awesome day in itself. In fact, running is a goal of mine not to far down the road...about 5+ pounds should help.

Today was 45 minutes of cardio and 50+ minutes of upper body work.

To all, just keep moving forward...

Carpe Diem,
Dwayne

Today my workout consisted of convincing a child to go back to his classroom for a lesson, then running 15 laps around the gym with that child. Well, we walked and ran alternate laps. I think it may be the first time this year he's completed all 15 laps in pe. I'll do squats and pushups at home. But I'm done for the day, almost.

OKGOATGAL: You have a very tough job. Much respect. I work in the mental health field (not hands on) and have some knowledge of how tough it is. emoticon

I agree with LCDDUB...as long as you're doing something.

Made it to the fitness center today...been away due to weather.

You're to be admired OKGOATGAL...That's an awesome job you do and I can't tell you how much respect I have for what you do.

As long as you're doing something every day that's all that matters. Some of us have a lot more free time to get in workouts than you. We're not graded by how much time we spend working out, just that we're all trying and moving forward.

I got my workout in today and tomorrow I'm back to the gym, which I'm grateful for...finallly.

Carpe Diem,
Dwayne

Um. I teach a classroom of ED students. We have meltdowns from time to time. Pulled a shoulder muscle helping one of the kiddos calm down. I have an...interesting...job. Never dull and I LOVE IT!

I'm about healed from it. I've had pulled muscles and know how to deal with them. I'm doing arms/upper body today. I don't work out as long as some of you do. But I try to do something every day.

Whoa OKGOATGAL, What did you do to yourself? Take care of that shoulder.

Got in 45 minutes of cardio and weight work. Still not feeling 100% so no gym yet. Kind of missing it, in an unusual way. Never thought about it, but like they say..."You don't miss something til it's gone..."

Take care all, and you to OKGOATGAL...

Carpe Diem,
Dwayne

My cardio and strength was met at school today. Along with a pulled shoulder muscle. Yep. Going home to the ice, tens unit, and heating pad.

WAJE2015,

Those are great goals and the perfect way to start...slow and steady. You'll soon find yourself doing an hour a day with no problem. Just keep doing what you're doing and keep us posted on your progress.

Today I got in 89 minutes of body weight exercises at home. Not feeling a 100% so I don't want' to go to the gym and infect others.

Carpe Diem,
Dwayne
