It may sound funny, but exercise relaxes me. If you were to ask my 6 year old grand daughter what I do to relax, she would tell you I go to the gym and work out or do sparkspeoplel or some form of exercise. yep exercise dies lower stress levels it is an excelent way to vent, and get the steam off of the day! emoticon

That's a good idea to change things around. Only problem is I am pretty limited to the types of exercises I can do due to my illness. I will try to find some new yoga DVDs that work different parts of my body! I have a bunch that are all over kind of workouts and one that is 15 minute abs but I get bored of that one cuz it's the only ab workout I have. Time to search YouTube again! Have a great day.

I agree with DellMel! Just keep focused, take one day at a time, don't let a set back stop you, everyone has them, but they we pick ourselves back up and move one.
Chocolate would be my mountain, but I just take a nibble and move one. emoticon and do 10 or 20 extra jumping jacks or something.
Have a great day and don't let the little things get you down.
You might think about changing your exercises around to confuse your mussels. Sometimes your mussels get to used to what you are doing and then you get in a rut. I keep a note book of my workouts so I can change them around every other day or even every day.
It works for me.

I had a rough week. I gain 1 pound this week. It seems that one week I loose and one week I gain. But I am in a rut on I think. For exercises I do a Leslie Sansome DVD's, I going walking with my husband. I will try this week in picking a new 10 minute workout to see if that works to add with what I already do.

God Is Good. I live every day knowing that I can loose this weight that I have with the Lord by my side. I wouldn't be able to do it on my own. I thank God for His help.

Well I have completed an entire week of blogging. Reflecting back on the week, I have to say I am coming along pretty nicely with my weight loss. I started off slow and uneasy about this next chapter,but I think will be my BEST work yet.

I worked out yesterday morning for 60 minutes at the gym part on my own and part in class. I am taking today off to relax. I will be slowing down on my exercise until the weekend of July 4th. My plan is to still do at least 10 minutes of exercise a day, still go to the gym at least 4 times a week, so I can maintain the weight that I am at right now. Then I will hit it hard again from July 4th. weekend until September 26th I have 11.1 more pounds to loose until I am at my goal weight. I am going to get there.

You did well but a tip
Try to do the same ten minutes (time that is) until you get use to doing it. then you can alter it.

My goals are to increase my activity so that I don't have to think about 10-minutes of daily exercise. Because of the years of seeming inactivity, sometimes it is rather difficult to do anything physically demanding for 10 minutes. But yesterday, I decided to go outside of my comfort zone and continue on when everything in me wanted to stop. I did a 3-minute upper body stretch video, a 20-minute band routine, walked 5-8 laps around a parking lot the size of a football field, and rode my bike for 4.68 miles (approximately 1 hour). I feel awesome!

One day, one meal, one choice, one step to a new me! Go D-Dub!

My goals are:
A minimum of 10 minutes per day of exercise.
Drink 10, 10 oz glasses of water daily.
