My ultimate goal is to drop these few pounds that just sit and hang on, and then maintain, and to make sure that I get in exercise every day.

My goals are to be accountable for every single thing that I put in my mouth, to continue to drink water but soda completely, to get exercise every day, and hopefully meet some new friends along the way.

I just started today. I joined because I want to be accountable. My goal is to do some form of exercise for 10 minutes each day. I took my daughter for a walk, so Day 1 is a success!

My goals are to actually log what I put in my mouth. Drink as much water as I can. I am going to try to hit 6 glasses of water a day this week and work up to 8 glasses by end of next week. I would like to just stay on task. Got to the gym at least 3 times this week and work out. More then anything I wish I had a buddy to work along with on these goals. To help me stay on track.

I've spent too much time sitting in front of my computer, in front of a TV, or reading the last few years after I entered my "premature retirement." I think having a team of acquaintances who share my goal of having a daily minimum amount of exercise as a lifetime goal is just awesome! Doing this will also allow me to take reasonable steps to reclaim my former fitness. Two weeks ago, I thought I could just start my two-mile walks in my hilly neighborhood once more, and my knees quickly changed my goal! 10 minutes is just right to restart! I'm in! Thanks for being there, team! emoticon

For the last two months I committed to the 28 day boot camp and with that did at least 10 minutes of exercise a day. Now my challenge is to keep it up by making the exercise choices on my own.

This is it! I will make this work and I will not fail! I've joined this challenge team today and am committing myself to arriving to work at least 15 minutes earlier than normal and using that time to walk at least 10 minutes before clocking in. Week 1, Day 1 begins tomorrow. But, for today, I will find more ways to stay active as opposed to sitting and doing nothing at all.

I signed up today.
First thing in the morning I intend on doing some heavy duty raking in the back yard for at least an hour, after my stretches of course. Take a rest, and then into the garden for at least an hour, getting the garden and flower beds ready for winter.

Hi everyone,
I just signed up 20 minutes ago. I am going to start 1st thing tomorrow with 10 minutes of walking using Leslie Sansone's DVD. I don't like to exercise so this is going to be a real challenge for me but I am ready and so excited to be doing this. Linda

This is actually my first day of the challenge. I have already walked around Safeway (that's the best I can do) which can take me from 10 minutes to 1/2 hour. I will have to keep better watch. I hope to gradually add chair/exercise band exercises.

I'm new to this group!

My goals:

1. do a DVD each day. I have a nice selection going so I can alternate them all. Some Leslie, some Richard, if I am feeling spunky maybe even some Jillian!

2. Do my strength training each day, even if it's the ones I don't like. Gotta at least try!

3. Walk around the block at least 3 times a week. That usually takes me about 5 minutes or less. For a chunky chick I am a pretty fast walker! :D

Feel free to add me as a friend anyone and everyone!

My goal of this week is to exercise which is something I haven't done in a long time. So my goal is work out 15 minutes each day- I love walking with Leslie Sansone's walking workouts but I haven't done them is so long that I am really out of shape. I joined yesterday so yesterday was the first day I walked and I did 1 mile in 15 minutes and felt so good afterwards. Going to do it again tonight.

My long term goal for this challenge is to get in shape for a dance workshop I signed up for. It'll be a week or two after I finish the challenge and I have a fitness plan set up (more than 10 minutes a day) I'm just having a hard time sticking to it.

My mid-term goal is to, in a couple weeks, have worked up from at least 10 minutes a day to sticking to my fitness schedule.

My short term goal is the challenge! At least 10 minutes a day of fitness.

my goals are 10,000 steps daily, a hard one for me, but, I really work at it. Walking at least 30 minutes daily (outside or on treadmill) a 10 minute bootcamp challenge.
and whatever else I am attempting at the time. but those I try to do faithfully. So here goes, another 10 minutes.

My goal is to exercise 10 minutes each day. I did set a monthly goal of 500 minutes per month, but I am looking at improving my overall health everyday. 10 minutes seems reasonable and attainable, I know me and know once I get started, I can do more. I don't want to use anymore excuses as to why I cannot achieve my goal. Thinking positively, I can do 10 minutes.

Eastern time.

My goals are to get at least 10 minutes of exercise in per day. I usually do more than 10 minutes regardless of what I'm doing when I work out, but my problem is with consistency. Some weeks I will exercise 6 days, other weeks I will exercise 2! I really want to build better fitness habits :]

Hi,

I'm new to this challenge and really want to push myself so my goals are:

Do 20 minutes exercise daily

Wear my pedometer daily and try to beat number of steps I take each day.

Do arm, leg, core exercises daily.

Try a new exercise every day

I really don't know if I am doing this right but the reason I started this team is that the challenge sounded simple for the most part. 10 minutes - I can do 10 minutes. The challenge is... can I do 10 minutes every day? Will I be committed enough to REMEMBER to do 10 minutes a day? I don't know but I'll sure find out.

10/5: 10 minutes of stretching and leg lifts.

I have had a couple of crazy days, eating wildly, not even attempting to make healthy choices. Today I toyed with the idea of dropping out from this challenge and starting over at some future date when "I have it together." I then remembered ~INDYGIRL's quote about not breaking all the traffic laws just because you were speeding. Therefore, here I am to report and to KEEP GOING!

Day 1, Sat: Glider exercise X 10min
Day 2, Sun: No exercise
Day 3, Mon: No exercise
Day 4, Tues: walking X 10min
Day 5, Wed: vigorous housecleaning
Day 6, Thurs: Very tired and it pain. My
fibromyalgia and spinal stenosis is at
its worst.
