I'm working on keeping my body out of the wheelchair more and more each day so have been trying to get in about 15 every day I am able and at least 10 minutes when I'm really down and out just peddling to keep the legs moving. That's my goal -- just to keep moving and get stronger day by day. This is Day 1 for me, my name is Debbie, it's almost 3 in the morning and I've got to grab some sleep but will get the exercise done when I get up. Have a great day everyone.

If you are on your feet all day, can you do some exercises in place? While I microwave my lunch, I can do lunges, calf raises, wall pushups...And if I ride the elevator by myself, I can add squats and hip flexors with or without extension. Look for micro opportunities to get something going! You can do it!

It's been hard to find time to exercise. I have a 10 hr workday and a 2 hr commute round trip. Then I'm on my feet most of the day. By the time I get home I'm beat. But, I have to get healthier. I'm so tired all the time and I know I'd feel better if I'd start taking better care of myself. So here goes.

My goal is to get back into the exercise routine. It is really easy to get out of the habit and joining this team should help me get back to it. I find that if I have to report to someone, even if it is the team, I will do it and not make excuses.

I originally joined this challenge earlier this month but due to vacation and a crazy schedule, I am starting over again at week one.

My reason for joining this challenge is that I want to start a fitness streak and move more. I go to the gym usually about 3 times a week but want to do it a bit more consistently and add additional workouts.

I'm already involve 3 times a week with some nice fitness activities. My goal in joining this challenge is to introduce daily moving moments in my daily routine so I keep on being active when "things happens" -like a cancelled Belly dancing class!
In order to do so, I will do "Sunrise Salutations" every other day.

In addition to my afternoon workouts I am going to add a morning walk to my routine.

Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. Groucho Marx

I lost 20 pounds using SparkPeople in 2008 before I got pregnant with my 2nd child, and since then, I have not been motivated to get back to where I was.

I know it can be done, but I'm hoping with this challenge group I can get myself motivated again.

My goal is just to feel less tired so I can chase my now 16-month-old around (as well as my 8-year-old), and hoping to become less cranky in general.

My goal is to do an extra 10 minutes each day-- I already rely on biking to and from work for about 40 minutes each day. I want to challenge myself to do an extra 10 minutes when I come home: riding my bike as the sun sets, going for a hike on sand dunes, etc. emoticon

My goal is to simply dance to Zumba every morning before I start my day properly. That will get the movement bits dealt to quickly and easily for the day, and any extra movement is simply bonus...

I joined this challenge because I have not been able to stay consistent with my exercise. I think building a streak will help keep me motivated and it will definitely make me feel better. Plus if I start getting consistent with my exercise again, it should help my weight to start moving again in the right direction.

I would like to workout for at least 10 min a day, preferably longer. But I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to at least get that in. So that's my goal for the week.

To be more consistent with my exercise. I seem to do an "all or nothing". I want to get some form of exercise in every day...even if it is just a quick walk around the block.

My goal is to get at least some exercise every day of the week. I am currently doing a combination of cardio and ST 3 days per week and attending a yoga class one day a week. The other 3 days, I haven't been doing any exercise at all. I can manage at least 10 minutes a day on those days.

I already do 30 minutes daily. I'd like to push myself to get an extra 10 minutes or more daily to try and build more stamina.

My goal is to keep doing what I have been doing and to maintain. I strive for 120 minutes of some kind of fitness everyday, even if it is just walking my dog.
