My goal is just to start adding exercise to the mix. Even if is just 10 minutes on the treadmill to get started. I have needed something to kick my rear into gear. I am shooting for 10 minutes on the treadmill at least 4 days a week.

My goal is to do Cardio 3x/week and ST 3x/week. Sundays are Zumba! I'm aiming for a minimum of 10 minutes per day on busy days but would prefer a full 30 to 60 minutes.

My goal is to consistently do a 10-minute exercise daily. Plus I will add at least one more 10-minute burst to 4 more days.

Being consistent - that is my personal challenge. It's easy when we're at home but it's easy to break a streak when we're gone.

I have booked myself in to do a 5k fun run in October, with my MIL and my partner (he says he'll meet us at the finish line - show off! lol) ... but as I'm still recovering from an injury, I haven't been able to be as active as I'd like.

My goal for June is to walk for 10 minutes a day and do 10 minutes of strength on every other day. I think I need to at least do that to get the ball rolling and set the momentum into action!

I am actually aiming for 20 minutes every day this month. That's pretty aggressive for me considering that I like to have my "off" days where I do nothing, but who can't commit to doing at least 20 minutes of activity a day, really? I slacked off last month and gained 5 lbs - that'll teach me! I'm going to try for 30 straight days so that I can make it a habit - 20 minutes I think is doable as well no matter how busy I THINK I am. :) I would also like to commit to 3 times a week of some strength training exercises.

Up until 6 weeks ago I went to the gym three or four times a week. Then I got an almost full time job in addition to an evening parttime job. The workouts went down the drain, so today I am starting the 10-minute daily exercise. Today is not a work day so I am going to the gym.

My goal is to do a brisk 10 minute walk on my treadmill first thing every morning.

I am always so sluggish and have a hard time getting going in the mornings. I've noticed that I always get an energy burst from a short exercise session, so what better way to get myself moving in the mornings.

I'm also hoping to gain a better attitude and get more accomplished in the mornings as a result of this challenge.

We can do it!!! I can't wait to get started!

Now that my work hours has increased, I need this challenge to fit back in a minimum of 10 exercise minutes each day. That means what 300 for the whole month? We can do this. Mine will be strength training for 10 minutes with body resistance.

My goal is to get up in the morning and do 10 minutes of the gazelle freestyle or mini-trampoline before I even reach for the coffee. I use to get up early and hop in the car and go to a park and jog. But that has been a long time ago and I can't seem to motivate myself. But I'm here now and I'm going to do whatever it takes to complete this challenge and my trophy will be my new habit!

Honestly, my goal for the month of June is to start and maintain an exercise program. I've been telling myself since I joined, "Oh, I'll start exercising next month." Enough!

The thing is that I really do enjoy exercising, once I get into it. I'm hoping that this will give me some motivation to do more in the coming months.

OMG!!! I wanted to join a challenge group, but couldn't think of a challenge to do for 10 minutes each day. I already go to the gym as often as possible (trying to work up to running a 5K by the fall), but I found a couple people with fatastic ideas!!

My goal is to get up each morning and do (at least) 10 minutes of stretches. I used to stretch and it felt so good in the morning!

Lots of good vibes going out to everyone on this challenge!!

I wanted to join this challenge because I do not have any trouble exercising when going to the gym but the days I cannot get there I tend not to do as much as I should.

I find the 10 min. exercises a lot of fun because they are short and add up.

I have also set up a new strength training schedule with SP and I find it is working very well so far.

Good luck everyone with your goals.

MY COMMITTMENT: June 1st, 2010: I will restart my healthy lifestyle journey. I'm tired of taking 2 steps forward and 1 step back, it's time to get moving in the right direction, making WISER choices in both my foods and intentional exercise!! I've learned so much but I am still having issues with self sabbatoge, not making time for myself, and negative thinking. I have reset my goals on Sparkpeople and want to be able to do my best, learn from past experiences and GET R DONE, one pound, one step, one day at a time. I want to be around for my husband, my children and my grandchildren as long as I can be and be healthy too, so I can do things that they like to and want to do. I can do it and I can be successful in keeping off these extra pounds.

Walk 7,500 steps a day
Intentional exercise 60 minutes a day
Drink 8 or more glasses of water daily
Encourage others everyday
Eat 5 or more fruits &/or veggies a day

My goal is to find new ways to sneak exercise in my day. I do 30 min of circuit training 5 days a week at the Y but I miss exercise on the days my classes won't let me get to the Y --- so I want to find other ways to get it in.

My goals are:

Strength Training - incorporate a variety of ST exercises into my day. I love 10-minute workouts for this! I find inspiration on SP exercises, magazines, magazine websites, other fitness sites.

Cardio - walk a few days a week, try to do 50 jumping jacks every other day, different things that my teams come up with for cardio.

Planks - hold a set of 3 planks for a minimum of 15 seconds each, a few times a week.

My goal for the month is not specifically to lose weight but to just become more fit and active, but a 10 pound loss would be a great bonus.

Oh, and I want to get at least 300 fitness minutes in June, but I'm aiming for 400!

I've been completely unmotivated to do ANYTHING, but recently discovered Zumba. It's seriously the only thing I enjoy doing (exercise makes me want to claw my eyes out, that's how much I hate it) and that I'm committed to doing regularly. It's making a difference too. In my first week, I lost 2.5 pounds. Unheard of with me!

My goals:
1. At least 20 minutes of Zumba 5 days per week
2. 2 days of strength training to balance the Zumba

I am in the process of revamping my weight loss efforts. While I do pretty well with my eating, my exercise always falls behind. My goal is to try to build a good exercise program that I can maintain and starting with 10 minutes at a time I think I will get the motivation I need to continue.

I work 12 hour shifts every 4 days. The days i work i am not able to work out at all as i am exhausted by the time i get home and cannot wake up early enough to exercise. My goal therefore is to exercise for 10 minutes on these days and keep my regular 40 minute work out the rest of the other days i'm off

My challenge is to set a scheduled exercise time as I work from home and get into the habit of getting out of bed, sit down at the computer and stay there until it's time to sleep!

I'm trying to get my family to live healthier. I've joined other challenges and this one seemed to work along with the others.

The goal is to get a 10-minute daily exercise streak going with my husband and son. I am hoping that if we all exercise for ten minutes a day, that perhaps they might fall into the habit of using some of the many exercise tools and equipment that we have in our home.
