It's kind of fitting that today's the last day of the challenge. My goal for this challenge was to run a 5k in under 40 minutes, and today was the Flapjack 5k...a fundraiser for my step-kids school. Last year I ran it and finished in 40 minutes flat, suprising myself greatly at that time.

This year I trained more, but not recently. Also the fact that my HRM needs to be repaired has sapped my motivation.

All of that being said, I ran the race and finished a respectable 41:15. Not as fast as I would like but faster than the Komen race I ran in May.

Ladies, have a great holiday, and I'll see you back here in the New Year (hopefully with a repaired HRM!)
