I'm going nowhere fast. I guess I should be glad that my high this month was 4lbs lower than last months. I need to concentrate on carb control. I know it is an issue. I just have a super hard time with focusing on protein/meat as a primary food group. Ugh. I am not going to make my May goals as I just haven't really been focusing on giving up wheat stuff. I will need to come up with some other goals for June and maybe a nice reward if I manage to stay within my carb range for most of the month.

Wk 1 -04/06/13: 285.4 (-1.4) Other Goal Accomplished: Worked out twice with Zumba and twice with Water Aerobics, weather is great right now and I'm in a good mental health state to get this weight off!

Wk 2 -04/13/13: 287.6 (+2.2) Other Goal Accomplished: Worked out with Zumba twice this week and did a 45 min cardio at Anytime Fitness once. Need to get back to waking up early for a morning DVD to start my day out right. Also need to get back to tracking every bite.

Wk 3 -04/20/13: 283 (-4.6) Other Goal Accomplished: Cutting the junk carbs, exercising regularly and tracking everything really does work!!! My goal is to be out of the 280's forever by the end of Apr.

Wk 4 -04/27/13: 283.8 (+0.8) Wanted to be out of the 280's, but my body decided it wasn't ready to let go yet.

Short term of reaching 25 lbs off (weight of 271 is in sight... I will reach it... 12 lbs to go). Minus 3 lbs for month of April.

Wk 5 -05/04/13: 284.6 (+0.8) Been sick all week. Not able to exercise, not tracking food, not feeling good at all ;( Hoping to recharge and get refocused this coming week.

Wk 6 -05/11/13: 288.8 (+4.2) Still sick, prednisone sucks!!! I feel fat, sluggish and drained.

Wk 7 -05/18/13: 287.8 (-1) Struggling with myself to get refocused. I do really want to do this, it is just so hard to get refocused. Lack of exercise... lack of energy and comfort foods this is what got me to this weight. Time to go back to the basics...

Wk 8 -05/25/13: 292.6 (+4.8) This is NOT OK!! I am really annoyed with the choices I have been making... and I can only blame myself... no one fed me, I chose to eat and put each bite into my mouth.

This month has not been a good weight loss month... as a matter of fact I have gained back all but 3.8 lbs from where I started in Dec. I am really sick about this. Thinking back about it, I think I need to write a daily blog on how my day goes each day... that way I can track my highs and lows over time and see what causes me to lose it.... and then how I get back on track. So, this is my goal for the next month...

Wk 09 -06/01/13: 288.8 (-3.8) Other Goal Accomplished: Got started on some antibiotics and am finally feeling ok. Still a bit sluggish, but definitely on the better side of things. Started my daily blogs, this seems to be keeping me focused and accountable. Also have been tracking my food and activity this week.

Wk 10 -06/08/13 290 (+1.2) Other Goal Accomplished: Stayed focused and on track and gained 1.2... go figure??

Wk 11 -06/15/13: 291 (+1)... pre TOM... started working out with a real focus again this week, Zumba Weds, Anytime Fitness Thursday and tonight, and will go again 1 or 2x this wknd; started focusing on calories... I have always wanted to ignore this, but the fact is, I have to be realistic: I must burn 3500 calories to lose one pound... wow.

Wk 12 -06/22/13: 287.4 (-3.6)... Bought and started reading the Spark Solution. Started SparkCoach aslo. I have stayed within my calorie range of 1200-1800 cals all week and worked out M, T, W, F. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THIS WEIGHT! IT MUST GO FOREVER!!!

Wk 13-06/29/13: 285.6 (-1.8) Continuing to choose the path that will get me to where I want to be. Keeping calories, carbs, fats, proteins in check... worked out everyday!!! Treadmill calorie burn mode, 2.5mph, level 5 (high incline 5.6%). I WILL GET THIS WEIGHT OFF ONCE AND FOREVER!

Now that this challenge is over, how do you feel? What did you do well? What could you improve on?

Started this challenge out at 286.8 in April... currently am 285.6 for a 3 month challenge total loss of 1.2.
High weight this challenge returned to 292.6 week of 25May ; low weight this challenge dropped to 283.0 week of 20April. Sick in March and May, fell into comfort food land of no exercise in May... started reading SparkSolution 2nd week in June which has been my turning point. Since starting the Spark Solution, I have worked out almost everyday and have been making healthy food choices.

Since 8Dec2012: 296.4 (start) - 285.6 (28Jun) = 10.8 lbs

For every 5 pounds lost! Post your "Pants Man" here...

MIND: , create a personal mission statement. Very intuitive.

BODY: Move more than you had before. Up it if you've been doing some exercise already

SPIRIT: Take the time, a few minutes, at least 3x this week to focus on now, breath, connect with your inner being. Taking even 1-2 minutes 3x a week will get you started on taking time out for yourself.

MIND BODY SPIRIT

Well-Being encompasses all our parts, not just the physical body. When our emotions are in turmoil or our mind is bombarded with obsessive thoughts our health is compromised. It is important to create balance in your life by nurturing your whole person, which includes spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical needs.

. It will be amended we as a team feel the need. I've first take some suggestions that everyone has posted. I'll continue to gather them as you say we need to focus on them. We are a team that is participating in the evolution of this challenge. I'll just be the administrator! We'll spend that week focusing on those three things along with posting our daily comments for each day of the week.

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS
Because women possess an innate ability to perceive an expanded range of feelings, thoughts, and experiences, we are adept at consciously handling several things at once. That doesn't mean you don't get frazzled and frustrated. It does mean you can feel even better and more productive by attentively, purposely, and nonjudgmentally staying in the present moment

PHYSICAL HEALING
Taking care of our physical bodies is an important element in caring of our whole selves. It is important to listen to our bodies when they talk to us. Pain is a signifier that something needs your attention. When the immune system is compromised it's best to give it a boost as soon as possible.

SPIRIT/EMOTIONAL
Our emotional states are an important factor in our overall health. When our emotions are in flux, physical imbalances and illnesses are likely to surface.
