Wish we had access to exercise machines like we used to have. We aren't allowed in there any more. In my message below, I meant to put purple striped blouse. I must have been sleepy. A new program has opened up and my roommate, Sharon, will surely get to go home soon. I'm really happy for her. She is spunky521 and is first or second on my list of friends. I will get to weigh on approximately May 7. I'm hoping I will meet the challenge. I had 1450 cal. today. My calories are from 1450 to 1720. So it was a good day, except for carbs. I'm still trying to make some changes that will help, using the food that is available to me. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

A good day. The "pie" was almost perfect. New changes have put carbs under control, but now cholesterol is a bit high. More changes.

My calories for today are higher than I would like them to be, but still well within the 1450-1720 cal. range. I almost started to over eat on snacks. I got stopped, but I'm not aware of why I stopped. They had things for lunch that I usually wouldn't eat because they are so difficult to figure the calories. I ate breakfast in my room and they brought me a minimum amount of food. I had to eat everything for lunch or be below the 1450 cal. My mother faced a similar challenge. It is difficult when your meals are prepared for you and you have little to say in the matter. I will keep you in my prayers - I hope this is a bit of reassurance for you.

Hi, I am new to this challenge to lose 1-5 pounds in a month. I live in a rest home and the food here is not Spark People friendly. I will do my best to meet this challenge.

Hi,
I am back online now and my move is completed (although, I still have some boxes and things to go through). I have the Made to Crave book, which I am going to begin reading again because it got packed away right in the middle of reading. I'm going to begin again and will also try to use the study guide that goes with it. I'm hoping this book will help me to get back on track again.

I would also like to join this challenge. I am in the process of packing up to move from a 3bedroom, 2 bath house to a 1 bedroom apartment - needless to say things are a bit hectic. I will try to check in when I can but I'm sure there are going to be times I'll miss - at least for a while. My move will actually be done early in January.
