My problem is that I can't just limit myself to a one third cup of spaghetti. If I have the sketti as a meal, I have to take so much insulin to cover, it does it's own damage. But if I have sketti squash, I can have a regular amount and not feel deprived or suffer for it.

I am not fond of zucchini though. but I have wanted to try some carrot or rutabegga or maybe even cucumber (don't know how that would taste as a noodle, though) I guess I have to play around some....

I love pasta and do not avoid it, however I do not have it that often either.

Do you like pasta but avoid it because of the high carb load? Or do you use vegies instead of regular noodles?

I love spaghetti squash. I cook it and then separate the strands using a fork, add spaghetti sauce and yum.......
